What makes it different and standout-design brand new hotel. Not classical understanding of hotels. Very modern. It has own mood and atmosphere.I spent an absolutely lovely evening in a comfortable stylish lobby with lounge music and magazines available. Friendly receptionist made me a refreshing drink and I felt I was attending a cool party. These are emotions. On practical side I would point comfortable bed, big room even single, quiet at night, and again thought out design and style in every. all reviews »
Excellent new hotel with warm, light, clean and hospitable environment. Extremely well located and linked with public transport - S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram 17, etc. Together with my wife we spent two weeks exploring Munich with this hotel being a perfect base. The clean and modern interior is complemented by a very professional and competent manager. The guy at the reception was also very helpful. Definitely this is a hotel we shall come back to with pleasure.
Well we booked basic double room and the room were clean and hot so its a nice thing in a cold winter. Breakfast was quite rich we paid 7€ per person, you can find fresh fruit salad, cornflakes,cruassans,bagel,bred, marmelates,cheese,hams and so on.. The stuff were so kind and helpful.
The last day when i go back to room there was a little chrismas gift from the hotel chocolate,nut and fruit inside it was such beautiful.
It's such a beautifully designed hotel, everything looks good. So comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and will speak English if they hear that you are not German. The bathroom is always clean and the bedding nice and fresh. For Christmas they put lovely decorations up everywhere. Super modern and fun place to stay in for a very very reasonable price.
Brand new hotel so everything was very clean and crisp. Staff were very nice. We visited during Oktoberfest so we got a free heart cookie and 2 Munich beers, nice touch. Spacious room and bathroom. Toiletries provided. Restaurants within 10 minute walking distance. Wifi signal in the room was great, and free.
We really liked the room we had with a little kitchenette. There was a market close by that we could get some snacks, wine, breakfast items and take care of those needs without having to go out for everything. It was also a 5 minute walk to the metro, which was perfect access to the inner city of Munich.
Great staff (I think they only hire friendly super models) and a member of staff called security and personally escorted a friend of mine back to our room when a drunken gentleman followed her back to the hotel. Turns out he was the owner. :).
Bold Hotel had a beautiful relaxed feel to it and a nice modern design without being sterile. The staff were super nice and helpful, the building was very clean and neat. We felt very welcome and will certainly be back if we are in munich :).
It was a pleasure staying in the Bold Hotel in Munich. It is new, modern, very fresh and very funky. The staff were very attentive and approach you in a relaxed manner. The decor is lovely and it was easy to intermingle.
Very good hotel. Everything is clean. There are small kitchen and kitchenware in the room. Good price not so far from U-bahn station. Breakfast is good enough. Very comfortable to go to exhibitions at Messestadt.

The staff is very friendly and checking in and out is a charm. The room and bathroom was a surprise given the Budget nature of the hotel. Air-conditioning and a small balcony. The kitchenette is a nice feature.

For the price of breakfast I expected more variety in hot food. It was enough not to be hungry and thirsty but still...
No own snack bar or restaurant for evening time. As the area is really quiet and no cafés round the corner one needs to think about evening meal in advance or buy some food.
The wifi was free but they give you a ticket and a password everey time you want to connect you have to write password and so it was a bit boring.
Don't get me wrong everything was absolutely perfect. I think what would be great was if they had a small snack menu. Just for in the evening. Some sandwiches etc. So if you want to stay in for the night you can grab a snack at the hotel. That's about it. Otherwise it's great!.
For the price, breakfast should be included and not extra. No grocery store nearby, closest is about 20 minutes walking. In a very industrial area so if the window is left open it can be very noisy. Decor and feel of the hotel a bit cold.
The hotel is brand new and they are trying very hard to make it a good experience for their patrons. They gave a small warning that some work would be going on and we had some construction noise. Give it a few months and this will not be a problem. We enjoyed our trip and would go back!.
A little expensive, but considering it was Oktoberfest.... not too bad.
I don't think there was anything I didn't like. One small point might be the fact that that there is no central lighting in the bedrooms. There are plenty of lamps, however for maximum luminosity, a central light might have helped.

The hotel is a bit far away from the city center; however, there is a tram station quite close to the hotel and it takes you directly to Karlsplatz and central station.

Close to train tracks so if you keep the window open you hear 2 trains every 10 minutes, room cleaning department was not as attentive as expected.

Although breakfast was good value for the money, a wider selection of hot food items would have been nice. Hotel room could have used a few shelves or drawers for travellers to put their belongings. Shower stall could also benefit from a small shelf. Although bus and metro were within a 10 minute walk, there were not many shops or restaurants near hotel which was a bit inconvenient.

Hotel was not fully ready to open (but I do understand the need to be open during Oktoberfest). I hope when it is completed and snagged it will include towel rails and hooks, push/pull signs on the doors and headboards on the beds to keep them away from the shaking (when corridor doors bang) walls.
