location. general atmosphere of hotel excellent could not fault it. friendly staff, cozy rooms. The location is great, and despite the fact, that it's right next to a major road, you are not bothered by traffic noise.Nice and polite service. The size of the room, location.the location, we were interested in a place close to the sentrum. location, nice lounge. cooridore so confused.hard to find the exit. No noise from the street, but you could follow the conversation from the next room. It was quite at night though.Nothing special. Room cleaning - a bit early...A little on the small side. Looked clean, but had a slight odor. Limited parking, arrived late and had to park nearly 1/2 mile away. There was not any tea or coffee making facilitys in the rooms.Bathroom very small. This is a smoking hotel. No non-smoking rooms. No working lift. Bathroom was too small. Water went everywhere when showering. Quite loud. You could hear other guests in the hotel and outside.Strange people in and around hotel. there is a constant feeling that the hotel is trying to save as much as possible on account of guests. no switch to light in the bathroom it is switched automatically and closes after some minutes, so are lights in corridors, the hotel needs refreshment beds are not comfortable and bad pillows, a good place to stay if you find a good deal on this hotel and you are comfortable with a 2 star hotel. Parking full, we were left to an public parking. During our stay a demonstration train againts G8 went on the street outside the hotel and the whole city was full of german specail military troops and police officers. This together with that the hotel was situated very near "Reeperbahn" made the surrondings unpleasant. We were worried all night that the car would be trashed during the night. Room and bed were both very small.Bathroom layput poor. The cleaness of the room. cleanliness of the room was not great and the bathroom needed updating. Very poor information about the hotel itself at the place, the resturant there was really bad, we try to go there only one time, but then it was closed. The lady there only told us that we had to eat out (in bad english) . The breakfast was really bad (we were there only the first morning, the other mornings we went out for eating breakfast), we eat out all the time. The beds are bad...Curtains would not close properly and there was too much noise. horrible cleaning service, tiny double rooms, value/money ratio.Booked non-smoking room, upon arrival have been informed that the hotel does not provide non-smoking rooms at. when asking of a cancellation of the reservation we were threatened with a 80% no-show fee. Apart from that the rooms were unpleasant and dirty.
