25hours Hafen City is a very nice design hotel with harbor concept. There are esprits that you find in the design which makes you feel good and surprises sometimes. Location is at the opposite of U-Bahn stop at Hafen City which is quite convenient for transportation. Reception staff is welcoming, friendly, nice people. Restaurant staff was very good, as well. For business travelers: Distance to city might be an issue to consider but public transportation is well organized in Hamburg. What I didn't like? Well, I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer ;-). Probably nothing - except, beware of room 111 next to the smokers' lounge - the smoking isn't the problem, but the loud bass from the self-service vinyl player is!. the staff is friendly and good looking but not yet organized - waiting for 15 minutes without menue at the table, sitting at the bar and listening to the chief bartender complaining about colleagues...please do improve this - it will make your place perfect!. The menu is a bit limited, there is no tea and coffee making facility in the room and at Euros 17 breakfast, although good, is expensive. some construction in front of hotel (no noise disturbance). not enough bed pillows. Expensive parking and breakfast. The price of the room is too expensive. not found yet. Too many mistakes for 4 star hotel. They missed our room (we asked for lux, but got only standard), had no keys for the room (I had to go to reception and ask them to open my room... This is not joke), problems with towels, twice I had no towels in the room (and I hadn't got them, because their cleaning has technical problems, why they than takes my old towels is still a question to me), expensive breakfast, parking usually doesn't work (but their is another parking deeper).
