This hotel is well situated for leisure and business it is a modern and a well run hotel. The breakfast was first class varied and plenty full. I would not have a problem with recommending this hotel to friends in the future. Liked location, rooms-male receptionist on Friday evening was very helpful and charming but found other reception staff while giving informationwere quite unfriendly.Asmile and a cheerful greeting is always welcome!.
all reviews » Brilliant central location, very close to Statmitte underground station. Very helpful staff, both before and during the stay. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Berlin's Winters hotel was nice and I had a good experience, so I went to Munich and wanted to stay at the Wenters hotel again, but it was so much worse. The room had no air conditioning in the hot summer and no Wi-Fi. It was not very nice of them didn't tell me before I made my decision. Hotel is very well located in Mitte close to many sights and to the Gendarmenmarklt. Is also very close to Stadtmitte U-bahn Halt (U2) with access to Alexanderplatz Station and 'Aerport Express' train to Schonefeld Airport. Loved the location and the breakfast was good. Staff helpful in finding places to eat and with printing out our boarding passes on last day. Very good location, easy to get everywhere by subway train or walking, if you prefer. Facilities are good and the beds are comfortable. Location excellent for touring Berlin. Clean if a little basic hotel. Central location. Most of the sights withing walking distance. Bath towels in bad conditiion and far roo small. The shower actually being in the room was a bit unsual, but being pre warned about this due to other reviews, and considering that everything else was more or less perfect this is not really a huge issue. No city map at reception when we asked for directions to a department store. I had a three-person room and they had made up the couch as bed, so as single traveller I could not use the couch. Tiny desk to work on. Nothing reprovable. nothing to complain. Trash is not empty when we arrived. Shower is open (Glass room above the bed). Very small room. If you want a room with 2 single beds, beware that there is something absurd in this hotel. In EVERY twin room the bathroom pretty much doesn't exist. There's a separated part for the room and next to the beds there's the shower and the sink. They are not separated in any way from the rest of the room, so you will be showering in the middle of the room with zero privacy. We were shocked, but the staff was kind enough to change our room into a double!. The room was small & did not have any place to store clothing, had to live out or our suitcases. Location too: If you want to see the modern Berlin is quite far away. Be aware that some of the rooms are unliveable open shower in the middle of the room etc. It is charge the same price which is very low value for money. As the rooms are not very large, I would not recommend this hotel for more than 1 night, at least for 2 people. And the mini-bar fridge did not cool the drinks at all. No possibility to make a reservation for a parking place. Housekeeping suddenly stumbled in our room at 9.30 am while we were asleep. shower in twin room was not in separate room, with 1 see-through-window on the side of the front door. People that enter could look inside the shower. Room-mate could look into the shower as well. Only 1 Ethernet cable and no wifi in the room. Hotel internet not was the best. Rooms are very snug. The breakfast was expensive, and quality very average particularly the hot food section. Breakfast too expensive for area. No wi-fi internet connection in room. just one lift. Some walk-ins arrived and were quoted 20 percent less for a double room than I was paying for a single that I'd booked months ahead. There was problems with payment. The amount we had to pay was greater than the amount by which we had reserved. But after we showed reservation, we paid the amount by which booked. Our room was very very small. To get the room at 3 pm is too late. As we arrived at 11 am, it had been nice to have a rest in our room, before sightseeing starts. The lady at the desk, was not clever or polite. Carpets poor signage for lifts we descended a staff stairs & lift by mistake and found it difficult to get back to the desk. Rather cramped room and en suite facilities actually in the bedroom. No Wifi in the room. Limited WiFi access. Hotel does not offer wifi connection in the hotel room, everything else is great. I don't like thy have no Wi-Fi. Water in boiler at breakfast was never hot. It was impossible to make a pot / cup of tea as boiling hot water is needed to draw flavour and taste from tea-bags or tea leaves. . Garden terrace was worked on while we were there but the area needs upgrading (lighting and colours) to make it attractive. Did not like that room had the shower in the sleeping area...a little uncomfortable for friends travelling together for the first time. Did not see that on the website or would have made special request to not have that type of room. Hotel's map did't help much, transparent shower room made me have to set up rules with my roommate regarding this issue. Bed probably the most uncomfortable I've ever had in a hoptel room. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, early morning trips to expensive coffee shops. We booked 2 twin rooms for our group of four men. However, when we got to the rooms we found they were 2 double rooms instead of twin rooms, which was not acceptable to us. It took 30 minutes of discussions with the staff, and then an hour wait before they eventually found two twin rooms for us.
