Restaurants, cafés and bars are just a 5-minute walk away. Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station provides connections to Alexanderplatz Square and Berlin Zoo. alles war sauber, es war einfach zu finden, Das fruehstueck buffet war gut und billig. Die Hotelrezeption war freundlich und hilfreich. clean, easy to find, good cheap breakfast, helpful and friendly reception staff. Value for money, location and helpful staff. all reviews » it was very closeto metro or tram. I payed a special rate around Newyears' eve, for a 1-person room. The price/quality ratio of this hotel was very good I think. Nothing fancy, but honest. Very friendly staff. Even some chocolates to welcome you. When I told the cleaning lady she could skip my room, she did not forget to hand me the small bottle of sekt they give away to guests to celebrate the New year. Breakfast was really royal, every day the linen and bed were refreshed, 24/24 reception, if you get out of the hotel, you jump on the S-bahn on the other side of the street, free paper (german) every day. Abendstern is a basic hotel, that is good for its price, if you compare it to other prices is Berlin.cleanliness. The Superb room was good but I would not have liked to stay in the smaller rooms. The location for our purpose was brilliant as the train station was so close but still not noisy. The carpark opposite was good location and good value for money.great location, right next to S-Bahn metro stop, plenty of local places to eat and shop. Don;t miss the House of 100 beers!. The ongoing construction work wasn't a positive thing. Our hotel room, on the other hand, felt positively fresh and new.We like the hotel and will like to revisit again..... But nothing too disturbing as long as your neighbours don't party all night long. If you are tall like me (1.92m) the bed will be too short. no fridge in the room. The breakfast was very basic. The outlook of the hotel was not inviting at all. stairs to get to the lift so not very accessible. The ongoing construction/renovation. Breakfast room is small.Could not use INTER-NET all stay(1-Week) by trouble. no fridge to keep drinks and food stuff.to many outside lights, going into the room, courtains are to light, sun is coming inside all the time. room very basic and small.
