What I liked most was that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location. Efficiency. Room met expectations. Freindly reception.It was easily accessible, clean, comfortable and a good value. The staff was universally very welcoming and pleasant, with good communication skills in multiple languages. Additionally, the breakfast bar was both convenient and quite expansive for a basic buffet.

Since I had to catch a flight out of the city, I had a deadline and got up especially early just to be sure I could get the shower before I left. Other days this would not be nearly so much of an issue and would not be particularly problematic.quite noisy during mornings but thats understandable as the hotel is located in the middle of city, anyway one has to wake up 7-10 for breakfast :). it took some time to replenish breakfast dishes, milk jugs and cereal containers.The 'hot' water in the morning was just a bit warm; room design is very old, real 'soviet' stile (but the hotel is in 'west' Berlin I think..). The hotel isn't 5 stars, its basic but clean and comfortable. I had no problems with anything.Room with double bed was prepared as a single - single sheet and duvet -on 1st night. Decorations poor condition. Some guest noise 2nd nightbetween 11 pm and 7 am. the rooms need renovation. Shower and curtains very old. there was no internet during my stay at the hotel. Poor breakfast.There are a lot of noises. The breakfast was OK, but ran out of coffee and boiled eggs... would have preferred more cooked breakfast food.Mattress on the bed was very poor. 1.) The remote control didn't work and it it was taken out of my room during second day without returning back. 2.) The carpet at room was dirty (sand).private bathroom. I don't think the room price represented the room's value.The beds were uncomfortable. The shower room had no lock. Not every room has it's own toilet, and those common weren't very good. The rooms equipment was old and uncomfortable.
