  Location was great. Only a short walk to the Gare de Lyon in Paris, which we needed to use most days. Maybe not the best area in Paris to stay, but an easy Metro ride to any other places you may wish to visit.   Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.

  Great location with the metro just minutes away. Some nice resturants and bars close by and bakeries to die for. - The hotel is in a good location, close to bars, restaurants and paris sights. The staff were helpful and unobtrusive. The rooms were smallish but clean, tidy and well maintained.

  I stayed at this hotel for two nights with friends over the weekend and was thoroughly impressed. Room was clean and spacious even for three people. Beds were really comfortable, shower was big and powerful and the room is advertised as soundproof, and it most definitely was, could barely hear a noise from outside. Bed sheets, towels were refreshed daily and very clean. Hotel staff are very friendly and speak very good English. We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel after checking out whilst we explored a bit more of Paris on our last day.   The hotel is located away from the main hussle of central paris but due to it's location right next to a metro station and tram line it was the ideal location for getting anywhere you want to go. The service was outstanding and the modern feel of a hotel within such an old building was nice too.
