  It was on a direct bus route to the port, important as we were going to Corsica. It was within walking distance of the railway station where we could catch the 99 bus to the airport(4 euros each!). The seafront and shopping were less than five minutes away and we also had a good choice of local restaurants. - A bar, nice lounge, internet access ... what people say » for on line flight check in, garden for breakfasting outdoors, perfect also for after dinner drinks.   Really nicley presented air conditioned hotel that's excellent value for money and in the perfect location for a visit to Nice. It's in a pretty courtyard just off the Promenade des Anglais opposite a really good local super market and close to bars and restaurants only 15 minutes walk to the old town and very near various useful bus routes to pla... what people say » ces like the fabulous Marc Chagall museum. The breakfast is good and, yes, the lift is tiny but you can fit two people in or one person with luggage s - Location was very good for us for the little amount of shopping we needed to do in Nice. The Intermarche across the road for snacks and drinks could not be better (shame they don't have chilled beer). The closeness to the beach was also an asset after our exercise/swim in the morning. Staff were exceedingly friendly, and parking very safe. A/c worked very well in room 36, and nice view of beach if only a glimpse. Bed was very comfy.   Staff are very friendly and helpful, Patrick and Carol, left our warm experience with this hotel. The 15-minute walk in the alleys to downtown Nice is nice, does not feel long/boring at all.   The first impressions of the hotel was the receptionist whio was very pleasant and polite. She explained where we should go and see during our stay and pointed it all out on a map which she gave us. The room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. It was very private and you would have believed that we were the only ones staying there it was s... what people say » o quiet.
