Staff are very friendly and helpful, Patrick and Carol, left our warm experience with this hotel. The 15-minute walk in the alleys to downtown Nice is nice, does not feel long/boring at all. Breakfast is great, lots of choices. Room is not big, but very cosy, bathroom towel and bed tilts are very soft and thick and warm, the best we had during the whole trip in France. Location, Outstanding view of city, Very Quiet, Wonderful terrace, Charming castle exterior ; guest room was modern; loved the heated towel rack in bathroom, very good bathroom, granite countertops, water pressure in shower was very good, safe in room, hairdryer, paid parking on site (only 3 spots); very good restaurants on Geofredo nearby.

Location is great, very fancy side of town about 15-20 minutes walk to Ville Nice, couple of steep hills but it is well worth. Phillipe at reception was excellent, very friendly accommodating. View on the city Quite areea. hotel was ok. We booked a room with the sea view/balcony. The view was nice. There was a little dipping pool which came as a nice surprise. Quiet location. No complaints at all. not at all a negative point, but some people may find the access by foot difficult, as the area is on a steep hill (like so many areas in Nice, as well). But the walk around nice gardens is worthwhile. Slow internet at times, poor sound proofing but overall a quiet hotel, breakfast a bit expensive. Nothing!. The walk up and down the hill to the hotel from the main town. The poor map on the booking website which made the hotel difficult to find from the station. the coffee. It is an uphill walk to the hotel but good for those able to undertake the walk!!. Wouldn't say I didn't like this, but beware the hotel is on a hill so the walk back from town is uphill. A fair walk to the beach. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A little further from the beach than we expected (20-25 minute walk). nothing. Nothing. A long walk from the action. Best part of €20 taxi each way. The rooms and the bathrooms were very small. The path between the city centre and the hotel is a hill climbing. It takes about 15 minutes and you are going to arrive a little tired in the hotel. By careful when you check out, maybe they will make mistake about your booking price. Nothing. hilly location. Some intrusive noise from next room at times. Little soundproofing in walls?. Too far from the city center. The view was restricted given it was on the ground floor and the balcony was the typical French style where you can't actually sit outside. The room was small, overcrowded with two set of tables and chairs. Even thought I overall liked it, I probably wouldn't stay again as I felt it was not value for money. Tiny bath. narrow roads, no near resturants.
