The courtyard and pool is a lovely place for relaxing and surprising to find in the middle of the city. The staff could not have been nicer. all reviews » The garden area was my favorite. Big and quietness of the room. Breakfast in garden. Attractive public spaces, rooms were okay with some classyfurnishings/decor. They do have a space to unload your bags outside (butno parking, thats 400 yards away). Bar and restaurant areas seem fine,service is certainly 3 star. Didnt try gym or sauna but had goodreports. Slight individual touches make it superior to Best Westernswhich have sprouted on the cote d'azur. I enjoyed the hotel, my favourate part was the staff, they were polite, helpful and extremely friendly. One exercise bicycle and a couple of wall bars and a weight-lifting bench in a room filled with incense is not a health club. Very dissatisfactory. Our "double bed" was 2 single beds pushed together, although it was extremely comfortable. No kettle or iron available. Room quiet small, no bath. So-called 'twin' room actually a single; one of the beds was just a folding z-bed with a matress on it. Chairs were folding director's chairs. The room wa designed by an artist, but it was full of soft toys so not to my taste.very simple, small and not well decorated room. Small room, very noisy.Strange smell in the room. Room furniture is a bit old. Night porter was quite surly. Air conditioning didn't work, and if you open your window, the parrots in the garden make a lot of noise. Quite expensive, but Nice is a very expensive place. We booked because it had a swimming pool, but the pool is actually quite small, and you can't sunbathe beside it as there is no room, and the surrounding trees keep the sun off it most of the time. Very uncomfortable pillows, tiny shower and toilet area with shuttertype door, air conditioning was useless and remained so despite acomplaint and assurances that this would be rectified. The style of decor was far from relaxing; the colour-scheme was awful, the lighting atrocious (one wall light was a bulb inside a paper-bag suspended from a wire coat-hanger with a sketch of a lightbulb stuck on the outside. The main light was a huge lightbulb. There was no dressing-table, just an ugly glass and iron construction. Neither of us had a good night's sleep in the bed.I could go on....The room was very small for the money, but i guess you except that in France. I did not like the fact the senior member of staff on reception when we checked out tried to charge us above the rate quoted on letsbookhotel.com. The same man had checked us in and specifically written down the letsbookhotel.com rate. I felt he was taking advantage of our early morning check out and the fact we had used the minibar and gotten drinks on our room - as if we wouldn't notice the €60 extra.prices are too high, everything is quite old.

Welcome to our charming hotel, located a few steps away from the sea. All our rooms have different settings; most of them have frescos or are decorated by contemporary artists.
The Windsor, 19th century building, is a privileged place for contemporary art lovers. The hotel offers to its customers a particular atmosphere, mix of exoticism and poetry. Dinner and breakfast are served in the tropical garden in the summer and in the lounge by the fireplace in winter.
