Loft Which I had received was great - spacious and comfortable. Water cooker, coffee available. Two TVs in room, though not best loctaed downstairs (behind stais/pillar). Close to city and harbour. Very close to Viking Line terminal. Very Nice Hotel, and found the staff to be very helpful indeed with early check in much appreciated off the overnight ferry from stockholm. good gym and sauna facilities.
all reviews » By Helsinki standards this is good value for money for those who want to have a good night's sleep within an easy walking distance to downtown Helsinki. Great and friendly staff. The room was small, but comfortable. Bathroom was very good and clean. No problems with parking. Breakfast was good too. Room very comfortable and very quiet. Plenty of choice for breakfast and most enjoyable. Best of all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was far too crowded and thus skipped it. A few elevators were broken and that was no problem except when buses arrived and then were giant lines for the two that were in service. A bit far from the centre, but there doesn't seem to be any hotels right in the centre.lack of air conditioning it was very warm those days. was much noise. I missed international TV-channels. No teapot in single room, that was a disappointment. I got the room 2 hrs later than promised, tv was not working even after I had made a complaint of it (morning cartoons important for the kids...). I had the feeling that the staff smiles nicely but no real effort is made to give good service. Weird planning that when going (and especially coming, with wer hair!) to sauna one has to pass guests having their fine dining in the restaurant! wiev to the ferrry terminal rather depressing.
