Friendly staff , very nice room with a view. Excellent location. Location, location, location!. Breakfast not so good but nice. freezing at night. We knew going in that this hotel was going to be really basic so we wereprepared however the bathroom really needed renovation and the beddingwas quite appalling- the sheets were soo old and pillows were flat likepancakes... We had to fold them in half to even feel them! The comfortercover were soo faded and old... And the ratty old granny blanket on topwasn't better. all reviews »

Although Kučera Hotel is situated in the very centre of Karlovy Vary, only few steps will lead you onto a forest path for hikers which runs through the protected landscape area Slavkov Forest. If you prefer cycling, we will lend you mountain bike and you can follow cycling paths to the romantic Svatos´ Rock or to the castle Loket. History fans shouldn´t miss the castle Becov with its splendid shrine of St. Maurus.

You are permitted to drive a car in the spa zone, i.e. directly to Hotel Kucera, only on the days of your arrival and departure. Therefore it is always better to take the printed booking confirmation from our hotel with you.
The spa zone is guarded by private and police cameras. However, if you want to be sure, we recommend using a supervised car park in a near sanatorium or the underground parking (10 minutes' walk), which are available at an additional cost.
