The location is excellent right in the center of the town, very close to Hot springs, wonderful location. The room was clean, bright, comfortable and big enough with small refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities, with spacious updated bathroom (no hair drier but as far as I know you can ask for one). There is no reception at all; everything is running from the restaurant, for me it wasn’t issue, because everyone was extremely nice and helpful, especially Kraus junior, the owner's son! Ado.
all reviews » Location: Unbeatable, in the very middle of the most attractive part of Karlovy Vary, right across the street from Vridlo, steps from the main Colonnade (Mill Colonnade), less than 30m from Zamecke Lazne and from the Market Colonnade. Right under the Deer Jump. Staff: Excellent, always friendly, very helpful. Parking: Right on the roof of the hotel. Value for money. The hotel is at the city centre but it's far from the train station.It has a restaurant which has got very authentic &beautiful decoration, and meal I've tried was nice. Room is ok but no aircondition. They give towels&soap. There were a fridge,kettle and coffee&cups in the room. Wonderful service from owners of hotel that tun the establishment. rooms basic but with the necessary. Lovely breakfast and an excellent location. Exceptionally helpful, courteous and friendly staff, especially Werner. Nothing was too much trouble. Authentic Czech/German style. Everything was nice, clean and tidy. It has a very traditional and quite old design, in contrast to the many luxurious hotels in the main boulevard, however for this price it's a steal. The breakfast is quite ok, with a choice from several egg preparations, with the basic breakfast set of bread and garnish. The food in the restaurant during the day is some tasty traditional Czech cuisine. Overall a good choice if you're not eager to fork over lots of cash for. Very low signal of the WiFi. Please change the pillows!. No dislikes. No A/C in the room. No dislikes. The hotel itself was not that easy to reach by car, but that has more to do with the layout of the city (be prepared for a lot of uphill driving!). There is a small private parking on the back of the hotels top floor. Luckily there was a spot left, but there was none reserved for me even though I had mentioned this in the booking request.
