very nice room and great location. The breakfast offering was good and the breakfast room was verypleasant. Our room was small but had beautiful antique furniture. Idon't know what the hotel seneca looked like. This was hotel leonardo.reception and services (breakfast, etc.) were at a hotel (by same owner) about 100 yards down the street. Some disconnect. Staff put us in Hotel Leonardo instead. Outside our window was a musicclub that was open till 3am with lots of noise outside it till 4am. Ourfriends stayed in the attic room which was very very hot. We weren't toohappy about this considering we each paid 104 euros per night for 2nights!!!!. all reviews »

Information about the area
Krumlov Castle is unusually large for a town of Krumlov's size; and, in the Czech Republic, only Prague castle is larger.
The castle also contains a preserved Baroque theatre which was completed in 1766. The theatre is still complete with original stage machinery, scenery and props.
Krumlov also has a museum dedicated to the painter Egon Schiele, who lived in the town.
Ten kilometers from Krumlov is one of the Czech Republic’s oldest monasteries, Zlatá Koruna ("The Golden Crown"). About 30 km from Krumlov is the Hluboká Castle, established in the 12th century and later remodelled according to Windsor Castle in England.
Krumlov is close to the Šumava National Park, the Czech Republic's largest national park. The Šumava mountains lie along the border with Austria and Germany and offer a range of natural habitats - peat bogs, Alpine meadows, primeval forests, lakes, and rivers. The area is popular with walkers, cyclists, and canoeists on the Vltava.

However you will be able to stop at the hotel to un- / upload your luggage. Then the car must be parked at one of the three municipal parking lots ( app. 400m from the hotel away ). You will be provided with the parking card at front desk of hotel.
