  Room design. Cleanliness. Freedom. Location. Delicious breakfast. All that people are writing about the swimming pool is unfairly diminishing hotel's rating. The pictures of the pool are exactly views from the balcony.   Myself and my partner stayed in Apartments Vidilica for two nights. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. He gave us a bottle of homemade liquor, very nice. He also had a map of Split which he gave us and told us all the best places to eat etc and what would be best to see and do during our time there, very helpful. The buffet breakfast was an amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit, as well as bacon, eggs and sausages etc. - Nice people, excelent room.   I was coming from Dubrovnik and we were 1,5 hours late because of the Bosnia-Croatia border crossing. Nevertheless, our host Lovre was still waiting for us and actually was in communication with our previous host trying to find out if we were save. I think it has a very good location, the old town is within a nice 10min - We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

As previously mentioned in other comments he gives you a mobile phone with his contact details and should you need anything you can give him a call which put our mind at rest. He spoke with us for 10 minutes or so to tell us the things to see and do in Split which was very useful and pointed out a great wine and chee... what people say » se bar a short 5 minute walk away! Rooms were very clean, spacious for 2 people and furnished really nicely almost as if in a hotel room. The kitchen - Jurica, the apt owner, arranged for us to be collected from the ferry port and we were helped with our bags. He gave us some helpful info about the city and gave us a mobile so we could call him if we needed anything. He also offered to drive us to the airport for a reasonable amount. The apartment was in an old building but had been renovated to an excellent standard. It was in a very good location, close to the palace, riva and good restaurants.   Nice clean apartment. The owner was really helpful and guided us in our rental car to the apartment and also wrote on a map for us how to get to the rental car dropoff afterwards. Apartment was very clean and tidy, with a small kitchen area. Great shower! Was nice and quiet at night as not in the Old town. Would stay here again. - The apartment was clean and sufficiently furnished to the point that my fiance, who is a very good cook, was able to go to the local market, pick out fruit, vegetables, and fish and prepare it in the Bregovita 13 apartment kitchen to the quality of what she could do in her own kitchen. You can't beat the location. It is 150 meters from a cool beach that has tons of cafes, restaurants, and little vendors as well as 15 minutes (max) walking to the Diocletion palace area.
