  Location was excellent, there was only 2-5 minute walk to center of split. There were also good restaurants near apartment and area was nice. Lady who owned the apartment was very friendly and helpful and she speeks good english as well. Room was clean and nice, bathroom and kitchen functional, even the kitchen was quite narrow. Felt very safe. Both train and main bus station are only 10-15 minutes away. Information office is also near by. Owner lives next door and is very open to suggestions to improve apartment.

  We were welcomed by Miranda as soon as we arrived and she couldn't have been more friendly or hospitable. Miranda and her husband spent time with us telling us about the city and a bit about their family. One night she even took us to a Roman food event being held within the palace.
