  Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

  Loved Apartments Sirena. We had a sea view balcony and the view is amazing with a vista onto the sea and all the cruise liners rolling in and out of Dubrovnik. The sea views over the Port are fabulous and many hours can be spent watching boats go by. The apartment in the Lapad area is close to 2 good swimming beaches, easy bus transport to the old city and good restaurants. Dragica is a wonderful host with excellent ideas of what to do along with extra treats and helpful advice. I would recommend a stay here while in Debrovnik.

  The apartment is outstandingly well-placed, just outside the old town and close to the Pile gate (this seems to be the main bus pick-up for this part of town). The view of the old town and sea from our room was amazing. There is a small beach very close by and Fort Lovrijenac is just up a few stairs from the apartment.   Was probably the most clean and spacious apartment we stayed on our trip. Family of four and had a lounge room and dining room so plenty of space . Aircon and wifi excellent unlike some other places we stayed . The host made us pita and offered drinks on arrival and was very kind and friendly . I have gone to Dubrovnik several times since childhood and this was by far the best place I have stayed.   The apartment was very nice. It had a bedroom, bath, nice kitchen and dining room. There was a spiral staircase in the apartment that went up to a loft where a couple of kids could sleep. The bedroom was quite large - it had a queen-sized bed, plus an extra twin-sized bed, and a futon for sitting, or extra sleeping. There was a large terrace off of the dining - The Apartment was in the Old Town. It was clean and well maintained. Particularly liked the fact that it retained a lot of the original features such as stone oven and sewing machine in the house (it was quite an old house but very well maintained). Shower was good, good water pressure and hot water. The owner was very friendly, met us at the town centre and showed us the way.
