This property is the best located hotel on the Bund side of the river. Short stroll from peoples square metro interchange station means you can get green line direct from Pudong airport. Exit on to Nanjing road for shopping. Unbeatable. The price is very good .will chose it again without question. The hotel is on nanjing rd street and you are very near to most of shopping center and also people square metro station. We check out at 12:00 oclock but our next flight to shenzhen was at 18:35 oclock, the staff kept our loggages then we could take a looking around city for hours.

In general it just looks a little tired and a bit of effort could easily restore it to former glory. Not so bad to deter us from booking again at the very good value price. Before Hotel Welcome, all type of agents welcoming at both the entrance for all services. being a 5-star hotel, room / bathroom accessories provided were very limited. Swimming pool and lockers rooms were not nice at all. Dirty showers and rust everywhere, hair on the floor. When ever we come out of the hotel massage and whore sellers were too much. I personally got fed up with every next person asking for if I wanted a girl for fun. There are too many massage girls mami on the streets. Disturbing. I did not like the Wi Fi internet you are offering its very slow. we have not time to see bad thing just 2 nights we stay over there . we did not see their breakfast hall too . I didn't like the food , in my opinion it should be varied and they should serve international dishes for people who don't like chinese food . almost no fruits in the breakfast. It is a 4 star, not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is not included in internet rate. Towels are frayed. Business center charges to print boarding pass and use computer for internet!!. Arrived about midnight and had to carry all my bags to my room and also you must pay with a deposit in advance other wise you can't stay keep in mind everything close at night in Shanghai even the exchange in the airport Air condition wasn't good and wifi wasn't getting to my room in first 2 days Some men in the lobby and sometimes women keep asking me every night if I want young women sent to my room. The fact that the hotel tolerates 'massage' services at the hotel entrance and often in the foyer itself. It is very annoying and the I did not see the hotel take any action in this regard. The staff in majesty are not so hospitality and they are not so polite , this is not aspect of 5 star hotel. Knowledge of the staff about shanghai and surrounding is average . The additional price at the very end. Room service is not good, staff is less cooperative. Beds very hard Wifi was sporadic Staff not overly helpful. The shower nozzle is like a budget hotel shower nozzle. No air condition afternoon upgrade to 22nd floor. They donotdeal with customers well. There were prostitude dealers inside the hotel. I was uncomfortable walking inside the hotel after 9 pm. Told management if they were aware of the situation- did not get any attention (they are aware.) hotel is a bit old and needs renovation on toilets. internet was dramatically slow. couldnt even download my emails. the Facilities so bad imagine your self book 5 stars hotel with no cable internet in your room. impolite staff, poor collection of breakfast items. solicitors for pleasure services outside hotel in the night. its show a 5 Start hotel It's not I gave them a 3 Start Why? Bed to Hard, Old tv on room not even a lcd tv, mini bar with no sodas only beer,no coffee , no sugar in fact I traveling back on 3 month and I not thinking to go back to this Hotel. Staff. Rough Staff ... doesn't give an information people ask ... Maintenance was very poor and they have a gym with corroded machines. Staff wasnt fit into hospitality industry. They seems to be badly manged.
