The hotel in vancouver was very convenient as everything was either walking distance, or easy to get a bus from. Also the bar (wings) was a nice place to hang out. I liked having a coffee and using the internet facillity that is provided by the hotel. Centrality to downtown area at a good prie. very handy location. very reasonably priced. Tastefully decorated, doesn't feel like a huge chain; clean rooms, but somewhat small. Reasonable Price for proximity to City.It was centrally located and provided very good value for the price. The room and lobby area were neat and clean. The staff was great. friendly staff; good size room and bathroom; facilities (coffee maker; iron board). Wings Bar. They provided two packages of coffee, decaf and regular coffee for self-brewing at room which was very nice. Close to the class we took and within walking distance.fairly priced, clean and nice hotel. Easy location for our needs. Possibility to change to quieter rooms offered for longer stay.Location and easy access to other venues, sky train etc. close to my meetings and it was clean and cozy. central location. location. breakfast. Although we arrived at 3.30 in the day the rooms were not ready, the toiletries were not replenished and. on sunday evening large crowd outside waiting to get in club next door. once inside was fine though. Loud neighborhood at night (and red light venues on same block). But once inside the hotel was completely fine.Restaurant Facilities, Cost of Parking. Its not as central as they make out. There was a pungent (strawberry) smell of detergent in the corridors. No newspaper.Small room that wasn't very well designed, but it served our purpose okay. It was updated and clean. The area was a little intimidating, quite a few street people, but for $79 a night rather than $179+ it was worth it. Hotel is situated in an area which is quite active at night, although our room was very quiet, it may depend on the room. Also, there was some strange smell in some parts of the hotel.Rooms were not ready when promised. Repeated problems with the key to one room. The staff did not ask for identity while giving a new key. Noice from the street disturbed in the nights. The room rate was not according to the booking, but was corrected when asked. The extremely loud music from restaurant area in the evenings. hard to access the hotel due to construction of the road in front. paying for storing luggage for a few hours! should be free, like in all hotels!. expensive parking. The staff appeared offhand and bored but maybe they were over stretched.The Hiter and the internet network werenot working. And one of the girls in front desk was not polite and she couldnot give as information about how much we had to paid if we made calls from our room.Someone who works in a hotel at the front desk has to know this kind of information please. The key card machine was broken. I could not immidiately recieve the room key when I arrived. The noise insolation is not very good. Shouting people outside disturbed by night and sounds from other rooms can also be heard. There was not instruction booklet in the room. I was missing the phonenumer of my room and how to call a local call. I had to ask them from the reception. TV did not work.Difficulty calling the lift. Room and bed were small. No ice machineon our floor. Room and Elevator. I was very dissapointed with the hotel itself and the location of it. It was not in a very good area, I did not feel safe in the hotel or surrounding area, I will never stay here again. Although we arrived at 3.30 in the day the rooms were not ready, the toiletries were not replenished and the rooms were very small, dingy and pokey. I was in Canada for over two weeks this was the worst hotel.
