The room size was great and a very large bathroom. Bathroom and pool towels were huge! Comfortable bed and though close to the airport, wasn't kept awake by the faint noise. Very relaxing pool and hot tub. Cookies were fab!. Clean hotel, friendly staff, convenient location, and a great value for the money when prepaying. Hot tub and pool are nice, great restaurants and bar. Lots of stuff nearby as well if you want to eat out.
all reviews » My sister and I enjoyed the pillows, comforter and softness of the bed. We enjoyed sitting in the steamroom in the Zen Spa. We left the hotel feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I must say, Every staff member was Always wanting to know how they could help, and were very genuine about it. I have not had this experience in a very long time. I stayed at the DoubleTree because the seminar I was attending was located there. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. The room was updated staff were always available fast elevators sandwich lunch at the conference for convenience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location Early check-in Swimming pool and waterslide Breakfast buffet. We loved our stay there and for sure will come again very soon. Easy to book on-line; immediate confirmation. Bed Pillow The Hotel it self& the staff. the pool area and the hotel rooms. Very clean perfect location. Pool area excellant. THe conference I was at was attached to the hotel so it was convient. Parking was reasonable.Breakfast was good. Hotel staff were not very polite. Though there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, they did not know how much it was to ride and gave us wrong bus information. They also didn't tell us we needed to register our car so upon trying to drive out of the lot, we were sent back into the hotel to get a slip. Waterslides were only open at strange times. Paying $14 per day to park your car at a hotel that you are paying to stay at is absolutely ridiculous. Others in our party stayed at other local hotes because of that parking charge. I stayed on the 11th floor, very hot in the middle of the night...did not get up to turn down the heat. Brian Buffini's room thermstat stopped working in the middle of the night he said from stage..a little dated but nice experience. The aircraft fly in over the top of the hotel which can be noisy. When I was trying to book direct I did not find the staff or email system helpful. They took 72 hours to respond to an email. Lack of communication. I was on the business floor and another traveller said breakfast was included but I never was informed of that. The planes were quite loud. Woke me up more than a few times. Waterslides were only open from 4:30 - 8:30 Male lifeguard was rude. Pool and beds. Even though Double Tree indicated they would not pre-charge my credit card, my card had already been billed when I arrived to check in. I would have preferred to pay for my room by an alternate method upon my arrival. that the shops werent open their stated hours. did not disclose that there is a fee for parking. Halls very noisy at night. I was charged 2 times for this room. I found the hotel to be of need of a facelift, rooms were small and expensive compared to what we got downtown. I stayed 4 nights,I asked for a quiet room and was put in a room directly above Dixon Road. I hardly slept the first night due to constant truck traffic on Dixon Road. I was then changed to the other side of the bldg.and was fine. Literally 50 % of the rooms are facing the loud Dixon Road and 50 % are facing the back of the bldg. Always ask for the back of the building and you'll be fine. i had a horrible stay. We were woken up several times during the night from a loud bagging sound.I sleep thru almost everthing and the lound bagging startled me out of my sleep about 5 times during the night. It was terrible we were exhausted after a 7 hour drive and had a very important business meeting in the morning.
