Such a lovely couple of days. Gail and Jack made us feel really at home with lots of helpful advice about the area. Our two bedroom suite was beautifully decorated and super-comfortable, we both slept so well.
We loved the views of the lake and surrounding mountains and watched the sunset both nights from our outdoor patio with a bottle of wine, bliss!

Luxurious oasis overlooking the water...a restful pied-à-terre to discover Victoria and the Island. Our stay felt more like a visit to a friend's country manor. Wonderful dining options - fab chef! And the personnel is consistently friendly and helpful (thank you Caitlyn!)

The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The check in staff member let us unload our vehicle out the front of the hotel and park there until we were settled and happy with our room. Parking was a bloc away from
