Four or so blocks down side street to Rideau Canal -- great walking site! Will definitely stay here again if I have the pleasure of another trip there.

  The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding. We had a problem with the air conditioning. Someone came to look at it and said it was working fully but that the room was not cooling.   We stayed there for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. It was close to everything and the breakfast was wonderful and filling. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The 2 gentlemen on the front desk were very helpful and made us feel right at home. The every one of the staff members were incredibly friendly, the valet, front desk, even the janitor! The location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill is right next door, the byward market is a 2 minute walk away and you're also right by the rideau mall and numerous museums.

  I especially appreciated being able to use the swimming pool at the Marriot (which was connected to the Inn by a walkway) because their pool was closed for my four day stay. - The front staff were friendly and very helpful. My room was spacious and very clean. I would stay at the Hampton Inn again
