Just returned from Vienna at Nov 9. We were planning to visit museums and walk around city with 7 y.o. kid. Location is great - tram, metro (Shottenring, Shottentor), Billa, Spar - are close enough to aparts - around 5-7 mins on walking. Key handover was smooth and easy. Rooms equipped by good furniture, dishwasher was operational as well as gas-stove and fridge. Highly recommended. The apartment we stayed i had everything you would need for a city break: small kitchen, lots of storage, TV and free WiFi. We were up on the 6th floor and we had a lovely view across to some mountains.

To early check out- at 10am and without front desk there is no where to leave your luggage if your flight is later like in our case. Its good we have friends there. I didnt like the cleaning taxe 45 euro that I saw too late. It suppose to be included the price per night. As the flat is located in the highest stage of the house, it was warm/hot (due to the roof). Gets quite hot (no air con). Check out time is 10 a.m. No option to leave luggage. no receptions, u should wait them for the key. No dvd player despite being advertised as having one. Kettle - wrong base. Glasses chipped. No dishes to use in microwave (ie pyrex). Shelf in fridge broken. No oven. 1-In last three days, lot of disturbances occurred for us due to workers were constructing in the next door building 2-Apartment didnot have a good view. The check out time is quite early. The apartment is on the roop top so will be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. Blown light globes. Very brief handover, forgot to ask about washing machine (on another floor, never did find it). Building a bit run down. Main improvement areas: 1. Check-out time 10:00 on a Sunday. This is much too early and should be moved to 12:00. 2. No luggage storage room. Combined with 10:00 check out time this is very inconvenient if you want to take a flight or train in the afternoon/evening. 3. These are roof top apartments, but there is no functioning air condition. During summer nights, the rooms are very hot. 4. Not enough toilet paper provided. it could have had a bit more comfort, e.g. a rug on the floor. No reception Unfriendly staff/cleaners Doesn't follow check-in time.
