Easy walking distance to the city and short taxi ride to our conference. Pleasant, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. The receptionist was reassuring and helpful when it appeared there was no record of our booking. Very good price. Stayed there twice and Douglas on reception was extremely helpful and the best receptionist I have had anywhere. We were all impressed with him and remembered him from being there last year.
all reviews » Clean utensils for use. Beautiful entry/water feature at reception. Friendly staff over the phone and in person. Small room but enjoy the sectioned "one bedroom" feel. Location was good although getting a park while you check in is difficult.Very busy area. Staff were lovely. Was clean and tidy. Beds good. Location. First impressions as you enter, the fountain looked classy and sophisticated. the kitchen is satisfactory...and location quite good. The fact that on arrival our booking couldn't be found. Washer/dryer didnt have in-room instructions. No breakfast room service menu available, only starts from 5pm. Requested two car parks but we only received one remote. This was problematic. Requested late check out weeks earlier til 12.00. Not registered but they gave me 11.00. Requested a sofa bed. There was a sofa bed but it was broken so we had to pull the whole mattress out and sleep on the floor. Lucky we took our own linen as no sofa bed made up and no linen. Smelt of smoke. Advised reception on day after booking in that stove hotplates were not working, nor was dishwasher working. Was not fixed, and had to remind reception when booking out next morning that hotplates and dishwasher not working and needed repairing. Apt is rather small for 4 adults n 2 kids. Mould in the shower. noisy -street noises. possibly paying for car parking as this added another 100 dollars to the bill did not get list of amentities on arrival so did not know about private cinema and rock climbing wall for older children in group. Bedroom blind was broken but no big deal. room bit small for price . no wireless internet access on our floor (23/F). Not a great deal. The size of the appartments were rather small for 4 adults, and certainly were in need of some basic upgrading. A bit shabby. There is only one bathroom for a apartment with two bedrooms. There are not any toothbrush and toothpaste in a room. 1. Small study table 2. Small vanity table 3. Mirror was blocked by the bed. Room wasn't clean enough on arrival, the toaster had an electrical fault,causing everything to trip out when turned on. Dishwasher did not work. Un able to use kitchen without smoke alarms going off. the wasingmachine drying function not working, can not dry the clothes; no minor room cleaning during weekend; and room very small, balcony is like just for the aircon condensor...no view.
