The location is great, with a fantastic view. We were given a top-floor apartment which was huge. We didn't have a car but were able to walk to the shops and use local transport quite easily. The pool was a great magnet for the kids and my nephew had hours of fun making new friends there. We definitely intend to return. all reviews » I liked the location. Close to the convention centre, casino, shopping and dining. The apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable. Access to the apartment was easy from both car park and foyer. the room was more than accommodating and the price was very affordable the best place we have stayed as a family by far, we will be staying again every time we head to the Gold Coast. Thank You :). The resort ground were kept in pristine condition. the reception staff were very helpful. the view was spectacular room very spacious. pool & spa were cleaned regulary. Very quite area but still close to shopping , entertainment and restaurants. The beach was still within walking distance. Great units with well appointed kitchen. Location. Its near a shopping mall for groceries and its also near a bus stop. 20 mins ride to Surfer Paradise and 45 mins to Airport. Great place to stay. The space even in the 1 bed apartment we booked was ample and nice not to be cramped in a hotel room. Design and style of buildings and gardens. Staff were helpful. Parking arrangements were good. The location is excellent for Broadbeach, beds very comfortable, nice and spacious apartment. Loved that it was modern and clean good sized apartments with everything we needed. It would have been great if the reception desk could have been manned longer in the evening. I found the complimentary choices from the cafe extremely confusing. In my mind it would have been far easier to give us a daily discount voucher to redeem if we wished to. Could have done with a box of tissues somewhere in the unit. I wasn't particularly happy with the location of our apartment. On the second floor, overlooking the driveway. I would have preferred a nicer view and there was never any sun on the balcony due to its southern facing direction. There were what looked like pubic hairs on the tiles around the bath. Would have been nice to have an onsite restaraunt. car parking was hard to find. beds very uncomfortable. not enough cooking pans or bowls and things for salads etc. cleaning staff member entering our room before our check out time of 10am. Self-Catering apartment. Limited dish washing liquid and Detergent. Bed too soft and uncomfortable for our liking, but that is all. The cafe only had a couple of tables inside (it rained quite a bit) and the breakfast included in the tariff didn't even include tea or coffee, surely a 'basic' for a basic breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights, fri- mon, and on the fri and sat nights a group of people who were 4 floors up from us insisted on partying till 6am both nights, a relaxing and peaceful stay it was not, I think reception should be manned 24 hrs with security, no one answered the out of hours telephone. Buses didnt stop closer, that was especially an issue when leaving for the airport and you have to lug your bags over to the bus stop which is not far but with luggage its a pain. Excessive noise made by staff around the pool and outdoor area early in the morning. I was greeted with a sour face and tone from the receptionist on my arrival. The reception hours didn't suit early departures or late arrivals so there is no one to ask assistance or advice off.
