The Wave is the best apartment we stayed so far. Its convinience to go to anyway from there as it is in the center of goldcoast. The apartment is very clean, very well equip. The staff is helpful and friendly. The ppl around the area are beautiful and lovely. There are shopping center, supermarket, 7-11 within a brisk walk. The beach is fabulous. The stay is worthwhile and memorable. Thank you Wave for making out trip enjoyable.
all reviews » We were a family group of 3, (my mother, my daughter and I) and we had a lovely room on the 17th floor with sea views. The apartments were a very handy walk to everything and were very clean, the staff at reception were helpful and our after hours check in went smoothly. We stayed mid week and were not bothered by noise - even slept with the doors to the balcony open (I do suspect this may not be the case on weekends). Great location and wonderful layout in our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. Restaurants etc everywhere around us and walking distance to Casino and pacific Fair shopping. Supermarket in next building and we recommend Koi restaurant on the ground floor.Staff very accommodating. Highly recommended. Parking for my guests. Was my 50th and people were dropping in and out, so to have secure parking was perfect. Beats the Q1 hands down!!! Loved the spaciousness of the apartment. Still can't get over the views, kept walking around the space to get another look. Loved it!. The room was large, stylish and very clean with very good appointments. The location is superb right in the heart of Broadbeach and minutes walk from everything you need on holidays and the resort facilities were top draw , very well maintained and available. The clean apartment, the facilities, the friendly and helpful staff at reception, the location, the great food premises downstairs of the Wave Resort. The big TV was great, the kitchen was well equipped and the laundry was well equipped. 6 star pillows, mattresses terrific also ,very important, nearly pinched the pillows !!!!!! Very livable , had family (5) in 3 brm they were very happy also. Further Bouquets to staff,so pleasens and happy to help. The location was great. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The apartment was very modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The facilities including both pools, sauna etc were excellent. We loved our apartment ! IT was room 1203, and faced the beach. I was checked in by a staff member who was obviously having a bad day and it felt an unfair and condescending way to start my stay however service from that moment was fine. The only issue we found during our stay were the windows to the main bathroom and ensuite, which did not allow privacy when someone wanted to use the bathroom, because anyone in the adjacent room has a FULL view of the other person in the bathroom. This is not only embarrassing, but also makes the stay at the Wave Resort uncomfortable, when the bathroom and bedrooms share a clear view window. May I suggest perhaps the glass be made opaque at least please. Parking access needs further explanation to Tenants, I think signage on your entrance eaves would be of value, as you drive along Surf Rd, you are past the entrance.Mostly out front is taken by cars and a new tenant would not know to go up side street to B1 Park. Would have been terrific if internet had been provided as part of the stay. After seeing the apartment that we booked for my sister I was wishing we were in one similar to that. It was furnished much better than ours. I would book a different apartment next time but I loved staying there and felt happy and relaxed . Well done!. Nothing it was all great. Didn't like the view much..back of the building in front with glimpse of beach but ok to people watch. Didn't like how we didn't know where to park to book in. didn't like that there was no foxtel in bedroom...also small things like no tissues no extra toilet paper(half roll in drawer) no mirror anywhere but in the bathroom area..nice to have one in lounge area too.otherwise very nice thanks. Weather:( unfortunately lots of rain! But being right in the shopping, restaurant precinct it didn't bother us too much! Honestly, there really wasn't anything we didn't like!. Very noisy from adjacent nightclub on the Saturday night. Noise went on through the night and would be reluctant to stay again because of this. Rooftop pool should be for adults not let children dominate both pool areas. Staff dismissive when we mentioned noise problems. A couple of maintenance issues - couch was a little tired and worn and not too comfortable. Refrigerator does not make ice, was indicating filter problem. The beds gave me a sore back. Very noisy at nights (loud cars and motobikes) The rubbish bin collections at 5:30am is inappropriate while visitors are trying to sleep. just the obstructed view from the window. A bit tricky to get to the rubbish shute. Noise - not a huge problem but there was a lot of noise coming up from the street/beach/surrounding hotel complexes one night we were there. It was a bit noisy at night time or early in the morning when the garbage truck came by. all good. Dish washer broke and took two days to fix. No wifi. Its locked up like fort knocks and couldnt get a late checkout as they were busy. No 24 hours desk service. Nothing. Not much wrong at all. The reception hour is short and sometimes is hard to get help. The mandatory charge for late check out, if available, wasn't inviting. No complimentary internet. Loved everything... Toilet in a glass boxx??. Reception hours not very convenient. Power sockets in third room were faulty - plug kept falling out of socket. Nothing comes to mind. The very noisy garbage truck waking us up every morning at 6.00am! Not something you enjoy when on holiday :(. Would have liked to use mixed sauna after office hours. Outdoor spa to be warmer and protected when raining and cold. Unfortunately I left something behind in the bathroom, and on enquiry was told it would be referred to housekeeping and there would be a $15 administration fee! I was prepared to pay normal postage, but after staying for 4 nights, considered this fee a little extravagant. I was also disappointed to find out rooms were only serviced weekly, not daily. As a visitor to Gold Coast I found it difficult to find the entrance to the hotel!! We drove around several times before finding it. We didn't ask for a room with a view and were somewhat disappointed. We will ask for a view next time.
