  Exactly as reviews say: a comfortable family-run hotel with helpful staff and excellent full English breakfast. I appreciate that hotel owner did her best to deliver twin room for us although during booking only double rooms were available. Thanks again for this! If you don't like - The staff were incredibly friendly. The Hotel is very well positioned with excellent links to public transport. We were using it for ease of access when going to West Ham for football and its about a 30 min walk. Excellent food outlets throughout Stratford. Very reasonable prices and large choice when using the Hotel bar. Breakfast very adequate (fresh fruit,cereal) before moving on to freshly cooked items which you can tell are all freshly prepared.   My brothers and I found Silk House to be perfect for our needs. The staff are very welcoming and are more than happy to help with any question. The family rooms were clean and comfortable,all the facilities suited our needs. The location was perfect for us as we were working in Hackney. I would like to say that silk house is an excellent guest ho... vad folk säger » use we loved it and will hope to stay there again P.s a special thanks to a Omar who made us feel right at home. - Their staff was extremely helpful and nice. Had hour-long conversations with them every night. Often had cake and fruit for the guests. Rooms + bathroom were both clean (cleaned every morning). Overground station is 3 minutes walk away.
