  We stayed at the apartment to celebrate a birthday in London. We found the facilities to be of a high standard, the apartment was only 2 months old and very clean. The furnishings were new and very comfortable. It offers everything a family needs for a pleasurable stay in London. There is also free wifi in the apartments.   A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster.   Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double. Room was large and well decorated with a nice view of One Canada Square (Canary Wharf). Tiramisu in... vad folk säger » the room to welcome us. Although we had booked room only, because we were there for the London Marathon, the hotel provided fruit, a cereal bar and L - Staff was exceptional, I have never experienced such seamless service. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. The housekeeper even offered to have a humidifier brought to our room when she heard me coughing. How thoughtful. While dining in the restaurant the staff noticed I was under the weather and made me a special tea. We were sitting in the lounge area and a staff member from the front desk noticed we needed refills on our beverages and alerted the food and beverage staff. I could go on and

  Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). Especially at night; looking over the Olympic park, docklands and the o2. - Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good bathroom. Ideal location for both shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.
