  St Michaels Manor is an unexpected find in the heart of St Albans. From arrival at Reception until departure all of the staff were friendly and very accommodating. I was upgraded upon arrival though did not ask to be. The garden room was luxurious and comfortable overlooking the lake and gardens. Although there were weddings on both nights of ... vad folk säger » my stay these did not, in anyway, disrupt the enjoyment of the break. The food was excellent. Mazz on the bar is to be commended for his care, atten - Everyone who staffed the hotel, the architectural and interior design, the Japanese influence seen through the selected artifacts and furniture all enriched the ambiance of St.Michael's Manor. The surrounding environment is beautiful. Just go and stay at this hotel. It is magnificent.

  Sopwell House Hotel was a great stay, the room was lovely with a nice en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we could not fault this stay, which is including the staff who could not do enough for us. The treatments I had here were great, and it was close enough to St. Albans and London so we could venture out. We are a young couple who work... vad folk säger » long hours, and it was a refreshing break for us as I gave this to my boyfriend as a 21st birthday present. I told my family and friends about this h - The facilities were excellent on the site, although it was a shame that we could not use the spa on the Friday until after 3pm, despite checking in. The pool was fantastic though, and the various relaxation areas: salon, bar, conservatory were all nicely done and peaceful. Free wifi was also a sensible inclusion in the price
