  The location was excellent being in walking distance of town.Breakfast didn,t finish til 10.30 and staff were helpful and friendly. - Lovely comfortable rooms - friendly, helpful staff. Facilities were great and close to the town.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Macliam Lodge, the rooms were clean and comfortable and excellent wi/fi coverage throughout, the breakfast was fantastic and kept us going all day, Maeve was more than helpful, when our car broke down she drove us in to town and offered to drive us to lift the car when it was fixed, She was fantastic and made us f... vad folk säger » eel at home, I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone - Everything. The host, Maeve O'Grady Williams, is a tourism award winner, knowledgeable and passionate about her culture and country. Makes people feel welcome. Rooms are nice, comfortable, light and airy, quiet, easy walk into town centre. Excellent staff, breakfast. Repeat stay, definitely recommended.

  This was a truly wonderful hotel experience from start to finish. One that most hotels could learn from. Greeted with a glass of Irish Mist at reception, chocolate plate and beautifully finished scenic photo book of the local area in our room, finally a gift of local made jams at checkout from the chef.   Rooms are fabulous, bed is so comfy! The style of the whole place is modern but cosy and just feel at home from minute you arrive. Staff are helpful and friendly. We had dinner in restaurant which was delicious and the breakfast at the guesthouse is one of the best we've ever had including 5 star hotels, couldn't fault the place!   I was down for the marathon recently.The room was massive and spotless but what made our trip was the kindness of the owners.They actually did me a breakfast an hour earlier than the norm as I had an early start for the run,but if that wasnt nice enough the owner actually dropped me down to the start line to ensure that I found it.The 2 owners are... vad folk säger » such nice genuine people and do everything they can to ensure that you have the most enjoyable of stays.Highly recommend that you stay here if visiti - A very welcoming ambience, with the owner's genuine desire to make sure that everything was alright.   Norma was an amazing host. We booked the place last minute, and took Norma by surprise, but we were met by her daughter then Norma who managed to pull out fruit scones with jam and tea. We had a choice of room, choosing the king size bed with electric blankets that Norma had put on for us. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh scones, choice of cooked brek... vad folk säger » kie, as well as being able to take some food for our travels. Norma even was kind enough to do some of our washing as well and fold and dry it. A much - Beautiful house and location. rooms cosy and spotless. atmosphere relaxing,homely, comfortable with the smell of baking:) Breakfast and snacks delicious and all homemade. Norma was extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay and would return in a heartbeat.
