Having arrived late on a ferry into Heraklion, we were warmly welcomed by Yannis into his hotel with pizza and beers. From then on Yannis continued to be extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean with excellent facilities. We particularly appreciated the bottles of drinking water freely available in the room which we thought was a very nice touch. It was all positive, we couldnt fault the family hospitality and the laid back relaxed atmosphere that surrounds the area!
