  Panorama is a wonderful accommodation, set in a beautiful location and run by lovely family man. You will not be disappointed if you book to stay at the Panorama Fanari. The accommodation has the best views we have ever had during our visits to Kefalonia and the room we stayed in was fantastic. There was even food processor! - - Dionysis who runs Panorama is nothing short of being a God of hospitality. From arrival to departure he insisted on making my comfort his priority - many thanks. I enjoyed the location, along the 800m walk to Argostoli there are some breathtaking views, some moving memorials to the Aqui Division and many nice bars and mini-markets for groceries.   Balcony rooms (I wasn't around to 'use' one so did without) might get some noise from the square but this is an excellent base in the heart of Argostoli, with a good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and a few yards from the quay. - Great location! Good value for money!!!

  Tourist Hotel was a great hotel, situated in a fantastic location. Argostoli is a very quiet town, however my visit was in low-season and this could be the reason for this. I would not recommend Argostoli if you-re looking for lots to do, as you may be required to travel out of town to reach these destinations. The hotel itself was fantastic, with 24-hour staff who spoke great Englis - Stayed at Tourist in early August. We are a family of three so it was nice to have an extra room for the kid. Balcony was facing the harbor and was on the shady side in the afternoon. The room was spotless. They cleaned it properly every day. Excellent breakfast. They even make coffee on request so that you get exactly the one you like. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Just ask at the front desk if you need any information.   I had a lovely stay at Oskars- it is family owned and operated and the family was always warm, welcoming and immediately attentive to any of my requests. The value is excellent and exceeded my expectations based on price. I had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and always felt looked after for any needs I had during my stay. Fantastic sea views from the rooms, which are very modern and comfortable. Free aircon. Food in restaurant great, but no obligation to eat there if you want to explore.   This is a grand hotel which was available at a very reasonable price. The hotel dominates the very large main square of Argostoli with many restaurants nearby. Reception was exceptionally sweet and helpful, directing me to a delightful Greek place to eat. Good buffet breakfast included. And Nick Cage stayed there.   If you want a peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings and like a familiar atmosphere in a small place, Emma's is a very good choice! Maria and her family makes sure that you are comfortable. The studios are clean and the beds excellent. Make sure to know which direction your room is facing, sea view means strong sunlight in the evening ( and lo... vad folk säger » vely sunset! ) mountain view morning sun and shady evenings. You need a vehicle to get around, a trekking bicycle worked fine for me to get to beaches - Everything! You are in Argostoli in 5' by car. It is very cool at night, making AC not necessary. Extremely well preserved garden - the owners really put their all into it. Maria really made us feel at home - I've been to a lot of appartments to be able to say that this facility stands out by far, in terms of relaxation, friendliness, as well as location.

  The whole ambience of the place. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed at and we are experienced travellers! The hotel had excellent facilities coupled with a fantastic locartion overlooking the bay plus the staff were extremely friendly and professional! Breakfast was good with a decent self service choice. Modern and recently renovated to a good standard.
