Balcony rooms (I wasn't around to 'use' one so did without) might get some noise from the square but this is an excellent base in the heart of Argostoli, with a good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and a few yards from the quay. -

Tourist Hotel was a great hotel, situated in a fantastic location. Argostoli is a very quiet town, however my visit was in low-season and this could be the reason for this. Stayed at Tourist in early August. We are a family of three so it was nice to have an extra room for the kid. Balcony was facing the harbor and was on the shady side in the afternoon. The room was spotless. They cleaned it properly every day. Excellent breakfast. They even make coffee on request so that you get exactly the one you like. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Fantastic sea views from the rooms, which are very modern and
comfortable. Free aircon. Food in restaurant great, but no obligation to

This is a grand hotel which was available at a very reasonable price. The hotel dominates the very large main square of Argostoli with many restaurants nearby. Reception was exceptionally sweet and helpful, directing me to a delightful Greek place to eat. Good buffet breakfast included. And Nick Cage stayed there. What more do you want! -

Everything! You are in Argostoli in 5' by car. It is very cool at night, making AC not necessary. Extremely well preserved garden - the owners really put their all into it. Maria really made us feel at home - I've been to a lot of appartments to be able to say that this facility stands out by far, in terms of relaxation, friendliness, as well as location.
