  The hotel is located oposite Alpin Express so you can ski almost back to the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and the owner Ivano was keen to accomodate our extra requests. The hotel is very clean and tidy. We also had dinner in the hotel and it works out to be the cheapest dinner in town as for CHF30 we had a four course meal with salad. ... wat mensen zeggen » The dinner needs to be prebooked in the morning. There is the Cesar ski rental next door and the guests of the hotel get 10% discount so there is no - Fast WIFI and located right next to the Alpin Express gondola lift. Plenty of English channels on a big flat screen TV in a spacious room. Great ski lockers for each room set your own combination. Not overpriced for half board meal option good value and saves on eating out. Nice bar. My second visit would return again.

  From the moment we were met at the station by the complimentary taxi until we were waved farewell with a welcome bottle of local water for our journey home we were looked after superbly. We cannot wait until we have a chance to visit this hotel again. The free wifi thorough out was also much appreciated. A great place to chill out and relax.   It's close to Verbier yet 'far from the maddening crowd'. The cable car was easy to walk to. Very clean. Very quiet. The breakfast was lovely with lots of bread and tasty sliced ham. I would definitely stay here again. - The location was great! Very comfortable and clean and great value.

  A courtesy car was waiting for us at the train station. The staff greeted us with a glass of wine of our choice as we arrived. Our room was amazing with a great balcony. Breakfast was the best we had in all the hotels we were in on our Swiss trip. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful with transportation and restaurants. Impeccable cleanliness is maintained in the hotel - rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily, linen is changed twice a week. The breakfast is very diverse and plentiful.   Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck.   We were pleasantly surprised to stay at the Hotel Communal as our original hotel couldn't fulfill the reservation. We were warmly greeted by the owner and he made sure that the rooms fit our family's need. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fabulous -- a great place to relax after skiing in Champery. Certainly will recommend and look to stay again if in the Portes du Soliel area. - Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.   I loved the design of the room. It was extremely comfortable and far better than any other hotel during my time in Switzerland. It could not be more central within Zermatt.
