  This is a modern hotel that has all the features of a four star hotel. The room, though small, was very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with tub and roll-in shower. It has an electric heated towel rack, and a clever night light. Rooms have a small deck with a table and two chairs. The hotel sits perpendicular to the lake, so none have direct lake ... wat mensen zeggen » views. We looked out on a park and a parking lot. Food was outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. The setting by the lake was lovely. Easy ride - Very friendly, helpful, Very nice restaurant and variions sélection. Breakfast buffet very nice and until noon subdays! Very beautiful view of mountains and Lake. Also wall trough the parc ans à long Lake to city beautiful!

  I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel. Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel. I received a very warm welcome from the staff, and was shown to my room whi... wat mensen zeggen » ch had everything I needed. I was travelling solo at the time, and the room contained a comfortable single bed, a Study desk and a cute little bathroo - Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really felt like

  Lovely hotel a short walk from the station. Situated on the corner of a big park. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel clean and tidy with beds made every day. They don't have double beds as its two singles pushed together. Room has NO air con but a fan is provided. Room also has a small mini bar/fridge for all your drinks, water, milk, ... wat mensen zeggen » bier etc, it also has tea making facilities (topped up everyday). Only one English channel on TV (but who goes on holiday to watch TV!) lovely bathroo - This was our first trip to Switzerland and the first place we arrived. Although it was before midday, our room was ready. We had a beautiful view of the park and the mountains and the room itself was spacious, clean and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel's bar a great way to finish the day. The hotel itself was 5 mins walk from Interlaken Ost station and within walking distance of just about everything you could need. Plenty of restaurants nearby to make up for the hot

  The hotel is located on the main street of Wengen which is like the Hobbit Shire, but for humans. Oliver the manager and Bridgette the front end staff were so helpful. The hotel is very comfortable with a beautiful pool, great breakfast buffet and overall charm. Highly recommend that you let the front staff know if you need to leave early in the... wat mensen zeggen » morning for a tour etc, especially if there is a tour group staying at the hotel. The tour group ate all the food in the buffet within 15 minutes on - The staff was really nice! They allow pets there and we brought our dog with us. When we checked into the room, we saw they had put out a water bowl for the dog which I thought was really nice. Breakfast was good, typical Swiss breakfast, and a couple of hot options. Location in the heart of Wengen was great.
