  Very enjoyable stay in the Mekong. The staff were great and very attentive. We had a couple of very good excursions with Guan, especially the bike ride through the local area. The local markets etc were very interesting to visit as were the artisan brickmaking and sugar cane works. - It was a wonderful hotel with friendly staff and set in beau... what people say » tiful gardens. I enjoyed the activities from the cookery classes, visiting the markets, both floating and land, but most especially the bike rides.

  - Stunning setting! - Yes, the boats going past can be a little noisy at times, so simply take a pair of earplugs if you need them. The boats didn't bother me that much. - I slept wonderfully in my floating room, which moved on the water as the boats went by and created waves. - Watched the sun set from my verandah with an ice cold beer. They don... what people say » 't have a fridge in the room but an ice box which is replenished each day. - As I was the only guest for my 3-night stay there, I was served meals at - The Mekong floating house is a tranquil paradise upon which to float and take in the beauty of the river. The rooms are beautifully turned out and the owner speaks the best English I encountered in Vietnam. Dont come here if you are looking for a busy nightlife, this is about sitting on your veranda for sunrise and sunset and enjoying some of the beautifully home made food. The bicycle ride excursion is highly recommended also.
