We loved the staff here and they were incredibly friendly in tough situations. This hotel is a stop off for people going to Phong Nha Park and the busses to the next stop are only night busses. Therefore, they were left with many travelers who had already checked out and they maintained the kindness as though we were still guests. We spent like 6 hours in the lobby after checking out and it was all smiles.

As there is a lack of tourist hotels in Dong Hoi this is the place to stay for tourists. Outside restaurants are limited but the hotel staff are very flexible and are able to provide meals if you are feeling a little too tired to forage outside. The views and spacious two person room on the top floor were great. It was easy to rent a motorbike to go to phong nha. The coffee was tasty and it was extremely easy to find the hotel because they have big signs at the corners of the main roads saying 50m to nam long so you're not lost coming back on the bike. everything...especially Ha and the owners (Nha & Husband); resident Roger was also fantastic; all the staff are truly wonderful; their hospitality, friendship and attention to detail was the best ever; I miss them & their friendship;. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, they even sent a motorbike to the trainstation to bring our forgotten passports! The trip they arranged to the caves was excellent. A quiet and comfortable hotel, real value for your money. We booked a standard room that was old fashioned but clean and big. They offered us a very good trip for phong nha cave and paradise cave. Clean hotel with friendly staff, spacious room, provided motorbike for a trip to the caves. Ok hotel, staff was really friendly, rooms are ok but we had problems with warm water. very nice place to stay, clean rooms, nice food and very friendly staff. They were a wonderful family with great service and very nice dorms. The rooms on the street side are large and have beautiful windows!. nice staff , quiet location, big rooms. We just stayed there for one night to make a cave tour, they organised. We can highly recommend this tour. The hotel is cheap and clean. Cclean rooms and friendly staff. Friendly personel. The room itself is quite charming. Organised a nice tour. Nothing bad to say about the hotel, but Dog Hoi itself is a bit boring and you can stay inside Phong Nha park anyway. Great place to get to the National Park but otherwise there is little of interest in Dong Hoi. The stairs. Make sure you remember everything you need for the day as it's 4 flights to the dorm on level 4 or the great private room we stayed in. Wifi service in the room was very poor. Interior is a bit old fashioned. They sell really expensive tours (almost 35usd/person) , if u are going afterwards to hue,better take a tour from there it will cost u 25 usd and u wont have to pay transport back from dong hoi to hue :). Nothing!. Breakfast is very basic. The hotel is quite basic, which was ok for one night. The rooms were cold like an ice box with poor hot water supply. Room001 without windows just behind the lobby! Shouldn't be sold as a guestroom, more like a storage... The rooms could have been a bit more isolated, but this is what you can expect for the price. The hotel charged our card twice when checking out. I hope they will refund this mistake ASAP. Sent to another hotel for the first of our two nights as they had double booked. Other hotel wasn't clean and the staff there were quite rude. Nam long was a bit better, breakfast average-staff were ok.room was nice, bathroom tatty.Air con not working properly and tv not working. It isn't expensive but considering what we have experienced elsewhere it is not good value. Booked a room for 36E for 2 nights incl breakfast and balcony but only got the 26E room.. .still had to pay the same money though.
