Couldn't say a bad word about this hotel. We're so glad we stayed in Ninh Binh for 1 night instead of doing a day tour from Hanoi. The staff is great, they pick you up from the train/bus station without you having to ask for this (or even mentioning what time you arrive, incredible!). The owner used to be an English teacher so he speaks English fluently (despite what the Lonely Planet says), and other members of the staff speak English (and even French) as well. Rooms are very big, and the tour.
all reviews » Nothing was too much trouble for the owners/staff and did everything possible to ensure an enjoyable stay. For example i was picked up from the train station without even asking if this was possible and without the owners knowing i was arriving by train, therefore they must have been driving between the bus and train station looking for me, and to top it off they even cooked food for me when the kitchen was closed (as i arrived late in the evening). The staff are very knowledgable and provide u. Excellent hotel, great service and helful staff, big and very clean, spacious room. many tour offered around Ninh Binh. Especially Pu Luong nat.It much nicer hikking than Sapa special the home stay and the people there are so friendly that is a wonderful destination and definitely less touristy than Sapa.The best tour I did so far.do it donot think about it. extremely nice staff who would help is every way they can, good breakfast and ice coffee, good reasonable restaurant, Thang our english speaking guide who works there was great, he showed us around and catered the day to what we wanted perfectly. we loved Ninh Binh it is a must see for anyone, especially the view from mua cave. The building is a very attractive older style with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The bed was firm but comfortable. Wifi worked well. When I wanted to head to hanoi, they took me to the train station so I could get a ticket. The family is very friendly, and welcoming. Would stay again. The best service with very friendly staffs. My wife had an emergency operation in Ninh Binh public hospital and the support I had from ALL members of the staff was just wonderful. I could not have coped without their help. My heartfelt thanks to all. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not everyone speaks english, but theres always someone there who does. They arent pushy with tours and tickets like in many hotels. Rooms are large and clean. Good breakfast. Staff was so amazing and very friendly; the manager also picked us up from the bus station and he didn´t even know what time we come exactly room was equipped with mosquito net (it came in handy). The Place has very Good value for price. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. Spacious and clean rooms and the Restaurant serves decent Food. We would recomment this Hotel to our Friends. The staff were excellent and the manager let me have a shower in the hotel at 6pm after a long bicycle tour even though I had checked out that morning as I was leaving Ninh Binh that night. Good rooms with high ceilings and beautiful floors. Clean and rather cheap. Decent food. They picked us up from the train station even if we had not asked (a sort of 'surprise pickup'). The window pane in my room was broken but this could easily be rectified. nothing. In the bathroom, the shower goes directly on the floor, not sectioned off. Minor point. Not much to complain, except that even though it is a bit away from the main street, truck horns might wake you up a little bit earlier than you planned. Handmade map from the hotel was not so accurate so we had to find the right direction couple of times on motorbike. The bathroom was Kind of small and was missing hooks for towels. Credit Card Reading Machine did Not work. The bread at breakfast was a bit stale and the honey was obviously watered down... ?. The appearance was a little off putting but that meant nothing to our stay in the end. Breakfast options limited. The bicycles they have are far from decent. We solved it by renting them at another place.
