Oscar Saigon was a good pleasant short stay to end out vacation in hcmc! It is in district one and within walking distance to a market! During the new year there were many festivities and most of it located near and outside the hotel! Which was great! We enjoyed our stay here! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful! This is my second time to stay here! We had left money in the hotel room and 2 hours after check out had realised that, on going back they had the money and was returned to m.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City with easy access to other districts and amenities. We appreciated the friendly, helpful staff, the delicious breakfast buffets and the spectacular view from the 11th floor where we ate every day. Thank you to all staff and management for a wonderful stay. I loved the view from my window and the dining room. The staff are great and the central location is fabulous. There are a multitude of places to explore within walking distance. Top pick is Tao Dan Park between 7:00 and 9:00am when a hundred songbirds in fancy cages are brought to the park for a singing date. To truly experience the Vietnamese way post a parcel home at the Central Post Office. Loved it all. An older hotel, offers a very good location in the center, great wifi link in all parts of the hotel. Very good spread at breakfast (lots of variety) and unique view over HCMC from the restaurant. The hotel does the basics well and offers good value for money in a very convenient location. Everything staff member through out hotel were all of great help could not have been better. Breakfast wasn't great and the hotel is very popular with tour groups so it can get very busy at times. make sure you book a Deluxe room with a window as some rooms dont have them. Apart from one young man, the reception staff have a very poor command of English. They smile and nod but don't really understand you. This meant that I missed a very important phone call. Front desk not really friendly. Cook at the breakfast very strange. This is not reach 4 stars standard. I was shocked getting a room without a window and not having been informed earlier on by letsbookhotel.com I had to pay $20 per nicht extra for the window (not available on the first night).
