Arrived late and very tired, equested room service with low expectations, but the tray of Thai food delivered was of astonishing good quality and flavour, same for breakfast and lunch, clearly fresh food preparation is a matter of pride with this hotels kitchen staff. Lobby staff always smiling and friendly, no hassle check-in or departure. I will stay here again, looking forward to my next Saigon visit and a few more nights at the Eden Saigon Hotel.
all reviews » They lost our booking when we came to check in. They only had one room free and that was the royal suite which was double the price. I called to complain to letsbookhotel.com and that helped. They gave us the royal room on the top floor to a normal roomprice. Such a nice room with a great view. Poolarea was perfect with sun all day. good location. In generel a really nice hotel. worth the money. The location is a perfect spot! It is near to the HCMC Tourist Spot, it has good places to eat and shop. The place have a pool. Great way to relax and unwind from all the walking. The massage is lovely! Value for money too. Internet connection (wi-fi) is really strong too! And the people are just unbelievable! The service is excellent! Everyone was helpful! We will definitely come back. The location is ok, the hotel is great! We slept there only one night but the staff was great with a perfect understandable English. The breakfast was good. They were so helpful and nice, we could use the swimming pool in the evening also if we checked out in the morning and we stayed out for all the day. Maybe it was because law season but the quality.price rate was perfect. Decent four star hotel, good public spaces, rooms are nice especially the premium ones to which we were upgraded on our second stay here. Breakfast had plenty of choices including pho and western fare. The decent sized rooftop pool had great views of Ho Chi Minh city. Staff were excellent, friendly and generally very helpful. Good value. The staff were excellent and paid attention to all needs. The room was immaculate. The location was great to get o every venture and the hotel staff could assist in any form of sightseeing. The food was a well prepared blend of vietnamese and western and the variety was plentiful. We will definitely stay there again this summer. We had a wonderful stay at the Eden hotel and when the staff found out it was our honeymoon they upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of wine and a lovely swan decoration on our bed. Amazing jacuzzi bath in the executive double, lovely rooftop pool. Good location about 7 mins walk from Ben tanh market. Booked last minute and got a junior suite on the top floor. Big, modern room. The rooftop pool was the best feature for us, as the weather was very hot and sunny, and we didn't want to spend more than a couple hours site-seeing during the day. Very relaxing place. Ideal hotel for exploring the city. After all the hustle and bussel of the city the roof top pool and bar were a god send!!! Lots of choice at breakfast. All staff very helpful. Check in and check out process was a bit slow. - Bed light only on one side of the bed - For the size of the hotel: not enough sunbeds at the pool - A bit noisy (you could hear noise from other rooms) - No information at check in about the surroundings of the hotel. Nothing wrong. I don't like the odors inside the elevators. I think they come from the dinning hall on the first floor. The ventilation for the kitchen and the first floor need to be improved in order to be the 4 stars hotel. Plumbing, couldn't get consistent temperature from the shower. Nothing. It was slightly more pricier than other places (for drinks and snacks) but was to be expected from such a fine establishment. Nothing. Nothing. When we checked in we said we may want to stay an extra 2 nights we were told that would be fine and to confirm that night which we did. The next day when I went to confirm again they didnt seem to know anything about it and tried to charge me over $30 more a night. We were not told it would cost more when we originally said we would stay longer. They then tried to get us to move rooms because we had a twin room and they wanted it for someone else. The water on the shower went from hot to cold suddenly, the TV was too small for being a 4-star hotel. The restaurant at the lobby has lots if mosquitoes and something should be done. The reception should not let the customers wait for a long time before checking in the room. We had to wait for so long then our room was ready. Checking out time should be given extension without paying but this hotel charges 50% and I think it's too much just for 3 hours of extension. ...corners in the bathroom were mouldy/dirty ....room smelled like cigarette smoke ....rooftop bar closed at midnight .....room was quite small. Nothing. The massage that they have in the hotel it's a bit dodgy if you know what i mean... they offer also other services to the point of putting on the table. Not very nice coming from a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast needs serious looking into. having to leave!. Absolutely nothing!. nothing. nothing. bit chaotic around pool when large family group appeared who thought it great to use life saving rings as toys,they also thought it great for kids to urinate around pool . even thought only 9 sunbeds some people thought it was ok to reserve beds with towels/books . neither were dealt with by staff even though it had been noticed. glass surround to toilet/shower by pool even though it was frosted it was clear as to what was happening inside . people smoking in corridors and bedrooms . None. Gym - needs airconditioning turned on 6:00am in the morning, and be around 17-18°C, drinking water available and sweat towels. Restaurant - We were the only 2 people in there on the evening and it tooks 4 attempts to get the meal correct, and charged for the incorrect wine. Room Cleaning: Well done, staff very friendly, but at times very late in the day, generally around 5pm. Real displike: Out of your control but men urinating in the street. Bed was a bit hard, but they all appear to be hard in Vietnam. Hotel room has no good view. Not many restaurant in the area. - starting to get shabby eg carpets and tiles around pool. The fact our bathroom flooded while having showers "blocked" drain. Nothing to really complain about at all. perfect for exploring Saigon City. Couldn't work the spa bath in the room and when having a shower water goes everywhere. Staff could speak better english, ordering room service over the phone was particularly difficult. Water in pool too cold. poor gym equipment. and even the disposable flip flops in the room are not free if you decide to take them:)). I wanted to take the sleepers as a souvenir and was reclaimed at the reception for it to my surprise!! I never had been questioned in any hotel.....the cost its minimun and is a good memory. nothing. WiFi was not working properly all the time. Breakfast was not quite as good as you would hope for a hotel of this price. Beds were hard. Nothing.
