We had a really good stay here, firstly the staff are really genuinely friendly, its in a really good location with everything you could want at the doorstep, it gets a little loud at night as there are lots of bars right out the front of the hotel, but from reading previous reviews I expected it to be much louder than it actually was, I was in a room at the front of the hotel wich everyone seemed to say to avoid but it was fine, a little noise, but really no problem at all, didn't effect our s.
all reviews » Excellent sized room, courteous friendly and efficient staff. Offered complimentary breakfast as I turned up extremely early. Very close to the main tourist street of Bui Vien which has everything you need for starting your Vietnam journey. Room I got had good views from 5th floor and the top floor has a panoramic view while you have breakfast. Perfect location; everthing is just within walking distance. Super helpful and friendly receptionist staff speaking english well. They provide us many useful information and tips for do and don'T. Our room was not so large but very quiet, clean and full stuff. The staff is so kind! It is in a bar area, so, there is noise at night. Ask for a room in the back. The breakfast is really fast an good for the price. It is a good place for foreigners stay - if they dont know hcmc yet. You can go to everywere on foot :). Good value for money. Room was compact but had lots of built it cabinets. Included a tea kettle and tea pot and cups. Frige and tv. Internet was good. No problems. Location can't be beat. It was clean,freindly and in the center of food and shopping. Decent location to explore city. nothing. The only negative thing about this hotel would be if you get a room with no window, or a room on the second floor close to all the noise. Apart from that we had no negative experience here. Lot of noise from mopeds on their horns starting from 6am but again that can't be helped as that's all part of the hcmc experience. The bathroom is tiny. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. I will always stay there when in saigon. Rooms with windows are usually more expensive. There was window but you cannot open it, so it's useless. There is such noise on the street, that room without window could be sometimes even better choice. We did not like breakfast. There was a lot of dirty dishes on tables next to us and also on the buffet. At 9 A.M. there was only 1 fruit left, even though they supposed to be available (breakfast is served till 10 A.M.). We did not bother but if you do not like noice or motorbikes do not go there . Too noisy. People downstairs are making creazy voice every day untill 4am. We even did not get sleep. Aircond in the room not function properly, take some time to cool down the room. You can only have a windows view but not able to open the windows. May be they setup an extra layer of glass to prevent the noisy music from the street. Noise from the disco next door...this is hardly the hotels fault. Location is shabby where constant high volume and resonating noise from street bar music outside continues until 03.00. This meant little sleep on first night so had to switch rooms even then it was off putting to my experience. Very noisy at night! Remember bring along your earplugs!. noise at night from club. The room facing the road is a bit noisy as there is a pub across the road. Can be noisy at night. Wifi in the room was not very stable, had to stand by the door for it to work. The hotel is on the busiest part of the busiest backpacker/party street in Saigon. We were on the sixth floor and still had issues with all the noise from nightclubs playing really bad music. If you don't like listening to "Macarena" on repeat at 5 am, choose a different hotel. The backpacker district is very noisy. The computers in the lobby have a virus and after infecting my camera memory card, I tried to inform the staff who denied any knowledge. I lost all our photos taken so far on our trip and the staff at reception could not have been less helpful. Really noisy! Sounds like a nightclub has set up in your bedroom and is having a battle of the DJs competition!. The room was tiny and had no window! This however went some way to insulating us from the awful noise from the two bars either side of the hotel. Size of the room too small. Room has no window, too noisy in the evening. Very noisy room. Loud music from club below until 5am. Room a bit dark and dingy. Noise Tiny room with a window with the view of a wall. too noisy, small room, bad breakfast, smelly.
