Amazing location: best place to stay in this area. Okay you don't get your booked rooms but who cares with these views and your private Robinson beach. The free kayaks are perfect to discover the area. Friendly staff. Good and plenty of food. Beautiful and romatic place.
In the morning, you can easily go through from this island to a small one. In the afternoon, it changes and good for you to swim.
Kayak is good choice to discover around and maybe you can find another beach by yourself.
Staff very friendly and helpfull, food was good and plentifull. Beautifull location, privacy was good.
The Location.
I didn't like anything.
The offer on letsbookhotel.com is a scam: you don't get the rooms you booked. The pictures you see are the more expensive rooms. So a lot of disappointment on arrival and complaining guests. A bit overpriced on Vietnam standards, but okay for this area.
Food is delicious but too simple that you don't want to stay for a long time.
Although the stay was cheap they obviously included that in other prices. Fares to and from Island where in comparison not very cheap. Dinner and Lunch were twice the prices you pay in Hanoi.
The sun disappears after 3pm which is a pity. There was not a real place to relax, lie down and read a book, like some hanging mats or cushions for wooden sun beds.
Dirty, unfriendly, expensive & bad Food, noisy, no complaint handling, they said on the phone no pick up service, so 80$ extra per person for 2 day 1 night on boat tour to cat ba island and changing the boat 4 times, no hot water, no Towels, to get off from the island with the boat 300.000 vnd extra per person, waste on the beach, oil on the water.
When I booked the resort they failed to tell me that we had to supply our own boat transfer of 400 Dong each way, which is VERY expensive in Vietnam. When I called to ask about a free transfer, they said no and then later tried to change their tune when letsbookhotel.com got involved. It is absolutely ridiculous to spend a fortune to get to a private island when you are already paying 10 times the amount to stay there. The staff was unreasonable and not upfront and honest about the total price.
