The rooms were nice size, the bathroom spacious, the water hot, thecontinental breakfast was really a full breakfast, but the staff madethe difference! They are a fabulous group of people - personable,thoughtful, fun, and went out of their way to help with every questionwe had. We're looking forward to returning to nyc and bringing morefriends along. A nice cozy hotel wich is located at a central location (between 7thand8th Av). The free use of internet at the 2nd floor (incl printing) was very handy as well. An other 5* hotel where i stayed in the same wk used a fee of $6.-/10 min! Breakfast had a big variety of everything and enough of it .

The staff was very helpful in booking a dinner reservation and breakfast was very good- better than the usual fair. We like temperature controls for heat/air which are digitally set... just like home!. I did not like the actual street that the hotel was located on. But I think that once the scaffolding is removed from the surrounding buildings and improvements are made to the facade of those surrounding buildings, then this issue will be much improved.no just wished there was more inernet facilities. Breakfast is mundane and lacks decent cereal choices. Instant oatmeal would be a big plus.there is street noise, but hotel makes efforts to minimize. AC seemed a little noisy.The noise from the street below, double glazed windows should be used. the rooms were cleaned very late in the day, not convenient as usually about 5pm when we were in our room.The location was on a pretty run down street. There were quite a few closed stores. This made if feel very unsafe when we came back in the evening.
