the close proximity to times square/broadway and the like...(1/4 block from times square). the staff were friendly and excellent.. i appreciated the smoking room(adjacent to the bar area). we were very pleased with our stay and plan on coming back! the hotel was beautiful, and our room, was spacious and georgeous!. The friendliness of the Satff. This is my second time staying there and I will definitely go there again. This Hotel is so convenient to everything around Times Square and that's where I wanted to be. The Staff was so helpful and the rooms so chic for the small space. I really enjoyed my stay as you can tell.
all reviews » We really enjoyed our stay at the Night Hotel - we requested a room change when we arrived and this was not a problem at all for the staff who were very helpful. The location was perfect as it is one street off of Times Square. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The look and ambiance was fantastic. A lot of attention was given to visual details, and quality of the presentation. The Goth style was omnipresent; delicately beautiful, sensuous, and exotic. It is as dark and silent as the night can be. The staff was also very nice.The room was great! A good size room plus a good sized bathroom, and all extremely comfortable and new. I got the room for about £400 for 3 nights, which was well worth it for NYC. it was only a block and a half from times square and 2 blocks from the greyline city bus stop. very inviting, great place for younger couples, awesome beds and linens. edgy sexual ambiance, yet far from seedy. friendliness of staff.It was very comfortable, clean, good customer service. Excellent location to TImes Square and considering how close it was, it was pretty quiet. Staff were very curtious. Would stay again while in New York. we did have trouble regulating the heat, in the room, but we didn't take the time to inquire about it.They decided to repaint the lounge's floor while we were there, I found that the decision was poor since it is right in the middle of tourist season. So we missed the use of the lounge for half of our stay. Just a little too much noise from the hallway (slamming doors) and the street - they could do with a little bit more sound proofing, but I wouldn't want to exaggerate this given the hotels location - just off Times Square. The noise level was only sufficiently high to be able to describe it as little more than a minor irritation. when I checked in the deskman told me he was going to give me internet free for one day as it was my first stay. The charge appeared on my bill the next morning. I was in a room by an exit door and the slamming of the door was a bit uncomfortable.All was ok. We originally booked a non-smoking room, but the room we got smelled like cigarettes. We called the front desk and they quickly changed it. However, the room appeared smaller, and it had a tiny window.Wish I had more drawers. Shower had no door/curtains...not very practical. The elevator is very slow. Rooms were slightly small !!. A bit expensive but maybe just time of year. The breakfast area was very dark!. The shower design. It's a cool concept, but the glass should come out futher to prevent water from running out into the floor. However, a properly placed towel kept the floor dry.Had to pay a $300 dollar deposit because i didnt have a credit card. Rooms were small. Had o room for my shopping bags. only one elevator.the way they make the bed. they use two flat sheets, they don't use fitted sheets. I was told many other hotels did the same thing, but I can only speak for my experience here. The sheets would move around and you end up on a bare bed mattress. For the price I payed I would have liked a "normal" setup- fitted and flat sheet. The shower that flooods the bathroom floor!. I would have preferred if the room was vacuumed more often as I dislike dust. Pictures make it inappropriate for families. Decor interesting for Night theme,but too dark to read, check a mirror, etc.Price was rather high. No window.The price... lol... but all clean Hotels in NYC are expensive... so.... Outside construction on Monday and Tuesday AM woke us, but it's not the hotel's fault. The shower door was a too small and water leaked everywhere. It was a little annoying, but would definitely return in spite of.
