Very friendly staff, location, atmosphere, free drinks and nice music in guests-lounge on 2nd floor. Staff is great !! Very welcoming and very eager to serve the client at best. Atmosphere and service. great location, friendly and just all you can ask for in New York. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We felt very relaxed and looked after. The Cheese and Wine at 5 is a lovely touch and the bar on the 14th floor is lovely!. Closeness to the centre. We liked everything about this hotel. We stayed in the "Money" room- the books were all 10years plus old- this was disappointing!. The room was very nice but a little bit more space would not have hurt ... now remember this is NY, so not really a complaint. Also, noise isolation could be enhanced (we were at the 12th floor but still heard a bit too much what was happening in the street). One thing that lets the hotel down is the size of the rooms, we came from Morgans which has large spacious rooms which are much more inviting and comfortable. We also found the reception staff a little stiff. To expensive. the noise and vibration was terrible we checked out after 1 night.
