Room was small with thin walls. no one should have to pay for a room on the first floor near the lobby, unfortunately we were put there and i couldn't sleep thru the night as it was far too loud, and your ad on the internet is very misleading about requesting 2 beds upon booking or you will be put in a room with one big bed. Rooms to warm (at night), noisy air condition/fan, noisy fume hood from restaurant, clairaudient rooms (neighbours bathrooms), domestic warm water regulation, expensive internet usage (1$/5min), no rack and toilet brush in bathroom. Breakfast room not very invinting. It's better to have breakfast else where. the rooms are too small and the price too high. I asked for non-smoking and it was a smoking room. There was no water in the vending machine too. Bathroom, shower was hazardous to use, rooms are tiny !! Just enoughspace for the bed basically. No safe ! Window wasn't closed properly, inwinter this is quite annoying.terrible smell in our room, poor breakfast and no room service. The room was noisy and dark. The heating was hardly adjustable. The windows could not been closed well, which is a big disadvantage at winter time!. Room was tiny. Had trouble sleeping due to very warm room with inadequateventilation/cooling. We stayed on the ground floor around the coner fromthe reception desk, it was very noisy, so was woken every morning at 7with music etc..First, I paid for a Superior Room with a King bed; but the staff checkedme into a room with a very small bed. It was not even a double. The roomI got did not smell very good either. The overall condition of the hotelwas not very good as they do not seem to be investing in maintenance orupgrading. I would not recommend this hotel. The room and the staff.I feel that staying at this particular hotel took away my experience of New York,The room was ridiculously small,untidy,freezing,badly lit and badly sound proofed .the bathroom was a disgrace and the floor was completely off level.A total dissapointment.
