There is a 18 hour/day restaurant on the ground floor, and we could walk to the subway to catch a train to Universal studios. The room was relatively large, the service was excellent, it was central and provided great value for money.The service was amazing, everyone was curteous. They had showers withtwo shower heads, one for each wall!. position. Good location, near Universal City, Kodak Theater. Always clean room, near the big market shop. All tours can be booked at the lobby.

Nice clean large room, lots of parking spaces, good night sleep (no noise) and a fantastic coffee shop downstairs.The renovated rooms are exceptionally large and very nicely appointed. Just down the street there are about 5 restaurants - all excellent and very packed all the time... the Hotel restaurant is also very good. the night time receptionist was very friendlyand helpful. the food bar downstairs was very handy, especially as we were late arrivals. Probably the best food we tasted in the usa.Good location and helpful staff. The 101 coffee shop was great for breakfast. We were within walking distance of Hollywood boulevard and many famous sites.Large room and great testaurant. It´s exellent position(Hollywood blvd,Sunset BlvdUniversal studios,Mullholand Drive,Beverly Hills...),big parking place,near freeway,big room.comfortable room, nice bathroom, good restuarant within the hotel. Room was wonderful, clean, large and comfortable.The hotel was "Hollywood" themed and appeared to have been recently fully refurbed, so our room was clean and new-feeling, with free internet. Parking was free too. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The "101" diner was excellent. The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent and well priced, plus there was even a juke box with something for everyone. We really didn't like the hotel's location. It's only a few blocks from the seediest part of seedy Hollywood. We didn't feel safe walking around at night, as it appears to be out on a limb apart from easy access to the 101 freeway. Plus, even though our room was "new", the walls were paper-thin and we could hear everything from the next room, especially at 3am!. Though there was a fridge and microwave, no information on local supermarkets, shops etc. No local transport though taxis were cheap and friendly. I didn't notice it but other people in our party had a bit of street noise. Air conditioning. Some rooms are quite nosy highway is quite close.The room was rather old, the airco very oldfashioned and noisy. Outside a lot of noise too. With earplugs in all was fine. cost too much for room. Hotel staff is a bit too laid-back... the telephone in the room did not work all the time. The neighbourhood wasn't nice.... The area where the hotel located was quite noisy from traffic and the area in general not so nice with no green area nearby. The hotel in general was a bit dirty for a family with three small kids.very noisy- wasnt able to sleep on either night well, uncomfortable bed, noise from traffic, elevator and people in the corridor -. it looked like a motel there was no room service and aircon was hot.
