I came with my colleagues to stay 5 days during the Big 5 Expo. My staying was only late at the evening and breakfast in the morning and than whole day out. Therefore most important for me was the bed comfort, breakfast and silence (no sounds from the airport what so ever-really good sound isolation of the hotel). 2l of bottled water was in the room and also cattle for boiling water with plenty of Nes coffee and tea for you to make. Staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful. Check in and chec.
all reviews » The location is excellent if you arrive late at night or have an early morning flight from the airport as the city centre and its hotels are quite far from the airport and you do not want to spend precious sleep-hours in a taxi. There are free shuttle buses every half an hour so it is also very convenient to get to the hotel. The closest Dubai metro station is Emirates (approx 4 min walk) and you can get to e.g. Burj Khalifa and the Dubai mall in 20 min. For us the existence of a gym was also a. lovely service, regular shuttle service to airport which is very reliable... we were leaving really early that morning so they gave us packed breakfast!!! so unexpected..... but brilliant!!! and location so close to airport , about 10 minutes away by the hotel shuttle.... would recommend this for people with a short stoppover with early connecting flights.... very convinient!! would definitely stay there again!!!. This hotel is one of location and, convenience for the transient traveler. We used it as a stop-over before and after Italy. With a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, meeting early morning departures is relatively stress free. Arrangements were in place for us and we checked out late as we had another flight to catch in the evening after the first long trip for my wife and I. Well done to the hotel and its staff. The proximity to the airport. Friendly driver who offered ice cold water when we got into the van. Easy check in. Friendly staff who went out of their way to get me a meal outside of the hotel as the kitchen was closed. Clean comfortable room. Enormous free, buffet breakfast. The convenience of staying near the airport for our one night stop over before the long flight to or from New Zealand. The staff allowed us to check in earlier than 2pm which is most appreciated particularly after a tiring flight which arrives in Dubai early morning. Customer service at the front desk was fantastic. Very friendly staff. When I needed to print out a boarding pass they let me use their pc and printer. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and lots of choice. Cold room, expensive taxi that hotel provides (that is not really a taxi) It is a big white jeep that you will have to pay double... No free wifi in the rooms is a minus, however we found that it still worked if you signed in in the public space and then stayed near your room door. :) The bathroom facilities were a bit dated, the sink had plumbing issues, the hairdryer was weak and the shower area could have been cleaner. The persistence of the un-metered "taxi service" (generally 4xwheel drive vehicle) parked outside the hotel. What part of "no" is not understood!. Soap and Shampoo are of low quality. The location is near the Airport; hence far out of city. However, if you have time, metro would get you anywhere. Also, no shops and restaurants are available in the vicinity other than that of the Hotel itself. No printer for e tickets, tho were able to email details to desk staff and they printed for me. Guests should be made aware of customs, and timings regarding Ramadan when they book, as per lack of food and drink during the day. Guests need to be mindful of the very different taxi prices. Ladies will only be transported from the Airport in Lady driven Pink Taxis,(even when travelling with a man), don't try to get into another as you will be quickly ushered to the Lady ones. Nothing. Nothing. - Cleanliness - problems with lifts (stayed for 7 nights) and it still was fixed - guess eventually it'll be - Could offer better conversion rates - Offer to call Metered Dubai Taxi instead of private taxi (metered/non-metered). The location at T3 is misleading because one still needs to catch the free shuttle bus from T3 which takes time. Grabbing a cab for a Deira hotel is probably quicker and hardly more expensive. That I had to leave :(. A little pricey. Watch the ++ which adds 20% to the bill. Breakfast was basic. no critics necessary. Being a non-smoker, the smell of cigarettes coming from the bar area and in the lobby was unpleasant, but at least our room was a non-smoking room and was obviously always a non-smoking room. No major problems - the carpark is a little tight if you have a big vehicle so drive carefully. This time around, I was given a room with a connecting door between the room given to me and the room next door. For some reason, around 3 am in the morning, a loud banging came from the other room forcing the door open. I got up and asked but all of a sudden a sudden departure arose when the front door of the next room slammed. I did not bother looking outside to see who was in the hallway. Nothing. Everything was fine. the pillows is hard little bit. Nothing. Pillows a little high for me. Breakfast didn't open until 6 a.m. so we were not able to grab a bite to eat before we left. Many rooms have ugly artium view. You have to fight for a room with a view of the airport. I didn't like the miss leading happy hour sign for the bar it was misleading which drinks were included. Can't fault it. Nothing. Food could definitely be improved. On return overnight room was badly serviced no hand towel No bath mat No glass in bathroom and tepid water in morning for a cold shower shower!!! Shower door did not shut properly. Prices on letsbookhotel.com do not include taxation 20%. Location is suitable for access by car / shuttle / taxi but did not seem to be good in a good position to have a walk. I did not see nearby restaurants / shops /sights. I thought the total cost of accomodation should include taxes and duties so that there are no last minute surprises. The room does not have an exhaust fan. The remnants smell of cigar is all over the room. Smell of air conditions in the room, windows cleanness.
