First class resort with staff to match. The buffet and breakfast was excellent and good value. When you take a shower, the whole floor in the bathroom is fuul of water, which is not very pleasant if you want to use the bathroom. Restaurant expensive, adjoining room door allowed noise from room next door. The massage duration given was too short, it should be longer!. having alchol drink i nthe mini bar. Yes, we were on the second floor and there was no other way up but the stairs. I went with a small child and it was very inconvenient carrying the stroller up and down the stairs. In the past our dining experience at Waves has been good - this time it was very poor - food quality and service - especially as we had given it a high recommendation to the friends that we brought with us.The check-in staff were not particularly helpful and the extra bed I requested had not been processed. > At Mozaik restaurant, staff was friendly and helpful, but failed to come and ask for our drinks order (this wasn't too bad as everything else was excellent). > We were really disappointed at the sauna and steam room - they were not the same level as the rest of the hotel, they seemed dirty and smelly and the sauna/steamroom facilities weren't very functional.

The resort is located on the east coast of the UAE, approximately 15km from Dibba Village, 49km from Fujairah town and a reasonable drive from cosmopolitan Dubai. The area has many points of interest, such as:

• Al Bhitnah Fort, located 13km west of the resort;
