Nice friendly staff, generous sized apartment with nice bedrooms and en-suites. We stayed a week before Christmas and the staff put on a beautiful carol service in the lobby. We ate in the buffet restaurant and ordered room service while we were there, there was a good selection and something to keep everybody happy, which is not always the case with three children. I was happy with both, they served our needs as a young family. There were other fine dining options available.
all reviews » The Coopers bar/restaurant was great. Service was fast and attentive just at the correct amount. Location for where I was visiting each day was perfect, but nothing else around. To all hoteliers, wi-fi is a normal part of modern life which is cheap and easy for you to provide to your guests, stop charging for it as if you need to lay a gold cable into every room every time a new guest checks in. Free or even reasonably priced wi-fi will put you high on my list when making a booking. The staff outside of Coopers need training in basic customer service skills. From the Valet parking to the front desk. The location is way out of town so if you want to do anything other than sit in the hotel its not great. the booking process was a nightmare twice I have made it clear not to charge my room to my credit card as I have a local card and twice it happened I am currently waiting for my credit card to be refunded which causes me lots of unnecessary hassle. Sound isolation from next rooms. The AC fan in the room was set at high and would not adjust to medium or low, it was too loud. Charging for Wi-Fi is not industry standard. No bathtub. A/C is not very cold. Internet connection is NOT free. It's far from the city ( downtown ), and it's difficult to find the hotel. No bath tub only shower - can be tricky with a little one. The room was cold and the setting on the thermostat was not effective. There was some hidden charges they asked us to pay them and said that it wasnt shown on letsbookhotel.com. No free internet in what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, are you serious? Modern sterile look not really my cup of tea and the place is in the middle of nowhere. When sitting outside close to the pool in the morning wanting to order a coffee there was no one there to take orders. Since it is in the middle of nowhere you would expect a decent hotel shop which they don't have. All in all absolutely not impressed with this hotel and I don't believe it is good value for money. They did not allow my son13 years old to play only trade mail under supervision in spite they allowed me in other five stars hotels.
